Have the panthers ever traded down in R1 in franchise history?
Traded out of pick for Jets to draft Revis and we got Beason and Kalil

Love improving the line but am a hard pass on any more Cam

So many times sleepers at this point in mocks become 1-2 rd picks after the combine and pro days. For right now:

Love this if Willis is any good. Also not sure about drafting WR

I don’t see him at 6 but agree he’d probably start for us

He’s played guard and tackle, but is best suited inside. He practiced at the Senior Bowl at Center

Would be nice to have a big, good run blocking center. Then pick up best OT or LB available with extra pick.
Lots will change after combine but right now he’s projected in the 20-50 range

Hoping we trade back multiple times again this year. Several OL and LB that could help this team from 25-100

Wow! Says he could see a scenario where Pickett falls to 4th rd

Yup. One of the CBS guys has him rated as top T

Of the two-QB or OL-OL is the only one that can realistically be upgraded this offseason. If I’m Fitterer (maybe even Rhule), I solidify the OL and hope it helps Darnold by not running for his life at the snap.
it would help the run game and if Darnold still stinks, at least you have one of the issues much improved. There will be 4-8 OT, a C, and possibly 2 G, available in the first two rounds that would immediately help. A trade back to grab two, a FA or two, and OL much improved.
-
Trade back ( at least once) if one of the QBs is available in rd 2 take a flyer- while drafting/ signing road graders and get a big back to pair with CMC. Even if we stick with Darnold, it’s harder to throw too many INTs if you run it 65% of the time.

I discussed this in an earlier post, but I'll jump in.
Keep Brady at LT.
Draft Linderbaum at CENTER with our 6th pick.
Start Deonte at RG.
Moton is already a fixture at RT.
Draft the best G on the board in the 4th round.
Now, if we could trade down in the first and still get Linderbaum, then I'd draft the best guard on the board with our acquired pick, probably a 2nd or 3rd.
This would address all the spots and it wouldn't cost us a lot money. We could use the available money to retain our FA' or acquire some.
Of course if Brady and Deonte don't pan out, we'll be screwed
Something like this with trade backs…

I want us to lose as much as the next guy, but this doesn’t look like a team that’s given up on their coach

Looks like Dolphins learned about Cam’s throwing habits…

I know this is crazy but trade DJ for some good compensation. He's making career decisions with us anyway so why not move him so we can rebuild back better?
I’ve been reliably informed it costs at least 3.5 trillion to rebuild back better…..
