Fiz, you use chalk or stickem or what? I can get 405 (183k) with nothing for reps, but much higher and the bar slips on me... Next time I DL I'm trying 500. I got 475 last week with no problem. I'd like to do it unstrapped.

I did too... had some Bojangles and Sundrop for the game. But I hit legs hard yesterday and did some extra cardio beforehand...

If we had any hills here in Wilmington it would be far worse than it is. I just went out for lunch and it is so slick all you can do is crawl and it's completely flat here.

Well then yeah, that's just mismanagement if they had it and didn't use it. We certainly don't have anything like that... and as it just happens, I was on the phone with a guy from SCDOT and he said they have 9 plows for all of Columbia.

Seriously. How would NYC fair if they had three snow plows and four dump trucks? Just like Charlotte or any other southern city that doesn't have the equipment to deal with it. But they don't because it snows heavily up there every single winter so they have the equipment and experience to deal with it. Why don't they have the equipment? Because this only happens once every 4 or 5 years and it's not worth the expense.

Eating that amount of protein is tough... And expensive, but it can be done. I probably need more than I get. I managed to make it to the gym but I live twice as close as Joscott does. There was a surprising number of people there.

We ended up with about 1/4" of ice and 1/4" of snow. The ice is just one big sheet and the high today is supposed to be 27. That rarely happens here. I can't remember a day where the high didn't get out of the 20s in decades.

About 1/4" of ice around here now. I came home about 6 and it was getting really slick. Thankfully there were only a few people out. It's not supposed to get above freezing here until Thursday afternoon... Yay... Not.

I seriously doubt we get more than 6" near Wilmington, but like I said, there is precedent for a lot more... in 1989, life stopped for a week. I lived about 30 miles west of Wilmington and we got 22" at my house, Wilmington got slightly less. I think that might be generous. I doubt we have more than a handful of snowplows... hell, they have been canceling school here for COLD alone.

No, that doesn't make me feel better... They just announced all county schools closed tomorrow and Wednesday. Kids are partying everywhere. Yet, I still have to work.
