  1. That's what I'm getting ready to do, I need to change things up more frequently. I'm putting together a new workout schedule, lots of variety and workouts I haven't done in a while. It's easy for me to keep falling back to Insanity because it seems to be the most bang for the buck but I need more diversity.
  2. At yoga last night my instructor had us focus on legs and hips. She kept coming around and adjusting my hips into some incredible awkward position. I haven't been this sore in ages, I just finished Insanity and never was close to be as sore as I am today.
  3. I get that a lot. Drives me crazy! Clueless
  4. Drinking means I'm eat whatever is in my vicinity.
  5. I started adding a Brazilian butt workout back into my weekly workout schedule. I forgot how much it hurts and how quickly you see results. If any girl reads this thread I highly recommend that workout. Even just the one called high and tight. The instructor is annoying but the moves get it done.
  6. Has anyone ever done Foam Fest? I'm thinking about doing it but I'm not really sure what I'd be getting myself into. http://5kfoamfest.com/Location/Index/45
  7. First time I did it I liked it, then I stopped. It made my feet cramp same with Speed 2.0 btw T25 isn't nearly as tough as Insanity. First it's only 25 mins, second even without breaks I just didn't find it as difficult. However I burned almost as many calories doing T25 as I do in 25 mins of Insanity.
  8. My left bunun has been a bitch the last two weeks. Hurts to walk, let alone do insanity. I'm old
  9. Legs and Back (instead of my Insanity Max recovery) today then Yoga! I love Tuesdays Yoga > Wine
  10. Good my patio peach and phlox is in full bloom.
  11. I've started a yoga class one night a week. I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying it, more so for the relaxation of it all, I definitely am going to give meditation a try. But i also find some of the moves challenging and fun. My instructor looks like she is deifying gravity sometimes. I've got this one down Working on this one, I had no idea that yoga got so extreme.
  12. I took out a lot of sushi last night, a LOT of sushi. In the last year I've gained between 8-10 lbs. I workout almost everyday doing either a p90x, t25 or insanity. I know it's mostly all muscle but at this point I need to rethink my goals. All my clothes fit the same but I think I want to be a little more petite looking. I really need to get back to counting my calories. I've started letting little things creep back in (cheese on my sandwich, too much avacado, and hummus, bigger portions). Plus my husband is keeping lots of nuts around the house and some nights I eat way too many of them. I know they are healthy but too many calories.
  13. ' Oh yeah it would be tough just doing those two. My fav is Max interval Circuit. I'm with you about Shakeology. It's so expensive and I tried a sample of it for breakfast a few times and it did not hold me over. I bought a cheaper version at GNC. It taste fine, is lower calories and how a lot more protein. I don't know if those shakes actually do anything, I've read our bodies reject all vitamins etc as toxins.
  14. I enjoyed T25. There is a bit more variety. Any time I pick up a weight I think it's fun and it feels different. I have a hard time being satisfied with only working out 25 mins, so I doubled up a lot. I like having t25 and p90x3 (which is 30 mins) for the variety and so I can fit in a workout on busy days. 2 months of straight insanity is kind of boring but it's a great presummer workout. I'm replacing Max recovery with Legs and Back from P90X. That helps out a little.
  15. I did it, and will go back to it some this summer. I'm in the 2nd round of Insanity right now.
  16. I did a serious arm lifting workout last night. Whoa my arms and shoulders and feeling it today. I love it! I normally take 10 secs between each set and then a 90 sec break after all sets are done before moving on but I'm not pulling the weight you guys are.
  17. Yeah I don't get that, I couldn't watch a tv show and or listen to a book or podcast while doing cardio. I'm way too out of breathe, heart rate around 180 the whole time, can't process much else.
  18. I guess I'm one of the few who actually LOVES cardio. I have a blast doing cardio workouts. I don't like running or walking but I love jumping around, throwing punches, push ups, squats, etc all at a fast pace. I also love biking and playing tennis.
  19. Running is the worst. I get so bored. If you want cardio at home workout videos are the poo. You can get them used online for a cheaper price. Blast some music and your workout is over before you know it and you feel like a million bucks.
  20. i can do 50 of course i weigh a lot less so I imagine that makes a difference.
  21. Im pretty loud sometimes when doing really tough cardio. Especially 40 plus minutes of it. And occasionally ill get congestion going on too. Its not quiet or pleasant sounding thing, good thing I work out at home. Sent from my SCH-I535 using CarolinaHuddle mobile app
  22. After a horrible stomach virus and a week of awesome skiing and eating whatever I want (for the most part) I was back at it yesterday. btw it was pretty great being able to do 6 straight days of tough skiing (moguls, steeps and tree skiing) and not being the least bit sore or worn out. I love being fit, so many benefits.
  23. Yep you sound like me. I think it taste good.
  24. I just finished the first transition week of P90X3. I like it pretty good though 30 mins is a little short for me, I'm use to working out an hour. So i occasionally add another workout in with it. My husband is just doing the 30 mins and he seems to like it too. It has lots of variety. I'm in pretty good shape and it's challenging which is my favorite part. I already had the dumb bells and the pull up bar from P90X so the equipment wasn't a problem for me. edit: It has an MMX workout. I'm actually thinking about skipping it. KenpoX became my least favorite P90X workout because all the twisting fuged up my knees. I'll likely replaced MMX with an Insanity workout.
