  1. It's going to be interesting to see what we do at the RB position next season with D Will, J Stew and Barner. Barner, to me is a younger, faster and better catching out of the backfield D Will. We seem to me to be putting ourselves in position to cut or trade D Will and roll with Stew as our starter and Barner as our change of pace back, which I would disagree with. D Will is the type of back that I wouldn't cut. He has a very low fumble rating and is a good all around back. To me, being a good back that doesn't fumble often is the type of back I'd want to keep.

  2. He always looks good during preseason. Always. Gettis has actually caught a TD pass(es). He got run down by a god damned punter for fugs sake. A PUNTER.. I don't give a fug if he showed a hairline of improvement. He should be in the unemployment line with the rest of the cuts.

Edwards knew the PlayBook, Gettis lined up wrong against Ravens. As long as he's been on the team he, Gettis, should know the PlayBook too. Yes he got ran down by a PUNTER, that had a good angle and maybe Edwards was a little winded. After all he changed positions from a QB that runs maybe 60 yards a game to a WR that runs maybe 700 yards a game. And of course these numbers are a guess on my part. I'm not saying that I'm in favor of cutting Gettis, I'm saying that for the first time I'm in favor of keeping Edwards.

  3. I'm going off one day of watching training camp so someone may contradict me, but I will say light years ahead of Smith. Poole runs kinda similar - low, quick, elusive. The difference is that Barner hits holes with authority while Poole dances around in the backfield (think Deshaun Foster)

Wow, I look forward to seeing him in preseason, which fortunately isn't that far away...
