San Diego. Probably Delhomme's last good game that reminded you of the guy he was in 03.

Monday Night (or Thursday?) vs Buccaneers at home. I went to that game and it was incredible to see Stewart and Williams just completely destroy a defense like that. I think at that time Stew and DWill were top 5 RB talents on their own. Smitty had a great game too.

That last second touchdown in SD was an unbelievable moment.

    1) Carruth- 1st round pick for a murder

    2) Collins- no explanation necessary, devastated a young franchise

    3) Jaycee Horn- on pace to have played 17/51 games, if he doesn’t regain form then that is a costly top 10 draft bust which is compounded when you see who was drafted after him

    4) Everette Brown- 2nd round pick that cost us 1st round capital

    5) Dewayne Jarrett- second round pick that was an immense bust

Carruth was an embarrassment not a bust.

Collins was a racist but had success elsewhere.

Horn is still on the team so no way it’s even close… Yet.

    Brown should be number 1.

    Jarrett is on that list.

Eric Shelton should be on that list if Jarrett is

The fact you listed Horn and not Otah tells me you don’t know as much about football as your father did.

Being able to grow plants/grass/etc indoors with grow lights is not the same as being able to grow and maintain an NFL sized field of grass that needs to hold up to the rigors of an NFL game every weekend.

Just because something can be done for one part of an industry, doesn't mean it's applicable and will work in all other areas.

Um…ok. You can use grow lights to help grow sod indoors. Sod typically requires natural sunlight to thrive, but if you want to establish or maintain sod indoors, you would have to use full-spectrum grow lights that mimic the sun's spectrum of light. You just have to make sure to provide the sod with the right amount of light, water, and proper care to ensure healthy growth.

But I guess we all can’t be experts in horticulture.

And how do they do that for the stadiums in the league that it's just not feasible to have grass?

Lions, Vikings, Rams, Chargers would have a 0% chance at it due to being complete domes (or roof in the case of LA teams).

Then even the fields with some form of retractible roof like for the Cowboys, Falcons, Colts, and Texans that I doubt even with some retro-fitting would be able to be open enough to get enough sunshine to all areas of the field to properly have an NFL quality field.

Those places can put grass in for the big soccer games on a one-off basis, but it can't be done for an entire football season.  And they don't do it or them out of the kindness of their hearts, they do it because it's the only way to get the games played in those stadiums, it's done because that sport is played on grass at an international level, they just don't play it on field turf anywhere, so you can't then play on it here.

Also, who knows if this injury was caused due to turf or not, but it's getting ridiculous where any non just pulled muscle injury on non grass fields is being blamed on the turf.

Sometimes players just get hurt in this game.

Grow lights. There’s an entire industry based on indoor agriculture.

Economic studies have shown that public spending on stadium projects is a terrible "investments" and essentially amounts to a handout to billionaires. Something feels extremely grifty about the numbers involved too. Jerryworld cost $1.4B to build in '04 and was considered wildly extravagant at the time. The Falcons' new stadium cost $1.6B. You're telling me you need $1.2B just to RENOVATE our current stadium? I call BULLSHIT.

Agreed but I’ll bet half that money goes towards the practice facility.

If they’re going to spend “real money” on a remodel it needs to be a dome.

lol because short guys are the ONLY guys that have passes batted down and that's why the majority of his passes have been batted down and was such a big problem in high school and college and why all of his passes have been swatted down by DTs so far in practice.

Nah, has more to do with not knowing where the throwing lanes are but height doesn’t help. There’s a reason that if he was 6’ 4 he would’ve been the consensus number 1 over all. But hey, let’s all pretend height and size doesn’t matter in the NFL.

Welcome to the NFL young man, every DT in the league is a freak athlete

That’s why you don’t draft a guy that’s my size first overall. I hope I’m wrong and eating crow after young brings us our first SB win.

Sorry if this is old news but I never saw it anywhere, looks like we'll be "hosting" the Chiefs in Munich in 2024. Not typically a fan of international games and losing a home game for it but this is better than London in my opinion.

That’s awesome. I was in Munich last September. Beautiful city.
