How is he capped out? Haha. He is the best learner in this draft… he has a head start on every player to be successful in the NFL. What would take stroud, AR, and others multiple seasons to learn… young shows promise to have it understood in a single offseason.
Â
how have we not learned from Brady, burrow, and manning that the QB position isn’t about athletic ability….
Yeah its not like you fill your brain and cant learn anymore, having good mental traits just means you'll learn and process new information faster, which theoretically could lead to faster improvements.

So Justin Fields had the highest score ever coming out of college. Doesn't he get knocked for his slower than desired processing in the pocket?
Thats what sucks about these %s. There are a number of different factors it tests and if you score high on the cumulative you could still lack in something important.
We arent seeing the full results so its hard to take much from them. I think teams are seeing more of the full results but it feels like they didnt really value this all that much until this year.- 1

and the s2 guys said all the qbs did well, somebody gots some explaining to do
My only thought on the S2 guy is if he was leaking bad scores it may look bad on him in terms of mass adoption of his product. Though they get leaked anyway clearly by the NFL teams, so probably irrelevant.

I live and breathe football and I have never heard of a site called Golong or mcginn draft. Doesnt mean he isnt credible but its a pretty rando site
He used to write for a paper in Green Bay and he's known for the week before the Draft posting a lot of insights from people around the leagues on prospects. It was usually taken as very reliable from a lot of good Draft Sources, became a yearly thing I looked forward to for a while. He's been bouncing around to weird sites ever since he retired in 17 though.

The main Twitter source is nobody I've heard of but the guy he's floating (Bob McGinn) is a very legit source.
the one seen quoting it (John Crumpler) is also valid.
The main twitter guy just writes for fantasy football, but he was summarizing a Bob McGinn article thats behind a paywall.

Actually, no. Cam got nowhere near this much praise from the media before draft. Accomplished as Cam was he still had to earn their respect. Nice try.
You are mad our potential pick is getting positive media attention?

In reality Heisman trophy winning QBs probably have a higher % of turning into decent pros than the total population of QBs drafted. The generally accepted first round hit rate at QB (Pro Bowl level) is like 40% for first rounders, 12% for second rounders and less than 10% rounds 3- 7. The list provided shows like a minimum 40% hit rate (probably higher but I wouldn’t count them as hits) which is around the generally accepted hit rate of first round QBs.Â
Heisman of course means nothing but just funny to think about how big of a crap shoot QB can be.

I would like to be the first to predict Bryce Young will be drafted by the Panthers.

Fitt clearly loves Bryce.

That Manning thing is so dumb, the CJ narrative is bizarre. The Texans being dumb and passing on him doesn’t need to be a reason to have to smear Stroud. My least favorite part of draft season.

Believe me, if Young gave the same performance in the National championship that CJ did in the Peach Bowl, I'd be right there with you.Â
For all our sakes, I hope you Bryce fans are right. If the Panthers choose him, I would be ecstatic to be wrong. All I want is for Carolina to win.
I do as well all I’m saying is I just don’t get why you ignore games like the SEC Championship, Playoff Game for Bryce when your talking about pressure situations, and and Michigan for Stroud which may be the biggest rivalry in college sports and a defacto playoff game for the Big 10 Championship with where it’s placed during the Season.
Its not really a slight on either of them, I actually like Stroud a good amount, but there’s more tape of Bryce winning in the post season than just that national title. I’d recommend watching it again though because he made the throws to keep them in that game. Wasn’t nearly as good as he was in the SEC Championship though.

LOL! You JUST made excuses for Young in your last post!
I said he played well and had them In the game late even with some bad injuries. He still lost the game.
you’ve been giving Stroud excuses by not acknowledging his biggest Ls.
If we aren’t allowed context then how do you use Stroud vs Georgia as a plus he lost that game?

Hmm...a matter of perspective. I happen to think the Rose Bowl and the Peach Bowl are Stroud's biggest games. Brilliant in both.
The only "excuses" here are coming from you.
Rose Bowl over Michigan? That’s wild, but if you want to make a narrative to fit your opinion around I guess it makes sense.
I haven’t made any excuses, I said he played well and they lost.Â
Bryce’s SEC Championship and Cotton Bowl were lights out though which are comparable in big game terms. Bryce just had more Big games for you to nitpick if we are talking only postseason games.

Low quality but why not just say he's Flutie? That's not a knock, it just looks like the same style to me
Â
I think some people tried that early and the board didn’t really like it on either side of the argument, and then it just faded away hahaha.

You sure sound superior after how bad of a time you gave me. lol I think that's called irony.

Listen. I have been trolling this place with short jokes for 2 days. If you are just now catching on, that's on you.
Â
It is allowed to have fun up in here.Â
I’ve been making short jokes for a while in here and I’m a Bryce fan, have fun they are a good time.Â
Hope you’ll join most the board and support him when he comes here as well.Â

It's ok, I don't expect much from the Young crowd. After all, folks who gleefully call Stroud fans "Size Whores, and Size Morons" don't have a leg to stand on.
Â
And I know your next response will be, "Show me those". Well if you had been paying attention. I wouldn't have to.
Â
And lastly. There were a bunch of Stroud fans that said they would be happy with either. Not many Young fans said the same about Stroud. Just food for thought.
It would be good food for thought if all the Bryce avatars haven’t been explicit in talking about how they would be happy with Stroud.
Regardless calling out one group for not supporting both QBs, while not supporting both QBs yourself is comical.- 1

And if you honestly believe that Young fans haven't been insufferable? You may wish to reread some of these threads.Â
There’s been plenty of insufferable guys from both sides. Look at the flurry of Stroud threads the last three days for an example.Â

What's funny is the Young fans think the poor kid is being persecuted. lolÂ
Â
Â
When Bryce fans say it, it's facts. When Stroud fans say it, it personal. lol
Â
You Young fans are so insecure you think everyone is bashing Young. It's just a few of us who don't want a JV QB running our team. Dang you folks will say anything.
It’s not personal at all, it’s just a funny complex you have. I haven’t seen any Young guy trash Stroud like that.Â
I know it’s just a few of you, I’ve argued plenty that the majority will accept either guy. I’m laughing at how ridiculous this superiority complex you have about this while also being one of the few that wouldn’t accept both guys.

Young shows up to the combine carrying so much weight he couldn't do anything but interviews. Red Flag
Â
Then at his Pro Day still doesn't do anything but throw, and more interviews. Another Red Flag
Â
Now he has cancelled the rest of his visits. Yet another Red Flag.
Â
Sounds like a kid that has trouble following set protocols. He is too cool for all that stuff other QBs go through. He definitely seems like he is way too special in his own mind.
Â
And he is still short.
Aren’t you the guy trying to convince himself Young fans wouldn’t accept Stroud but Stroud fans were gracious and were very open to Young?
I love they say that while inventing these Young character assassinations in their mind.Â
Would love some examples of Young guys trashing Stroud like this.Â

Dude, of course. You're really harping on those Michigan games. I feel bad for you...I really wish Young played better in the National Championship when he had the chance. Then you'd have a better argument. Frankly, I'd feel better too if that was the case.Â
Why would I not harp on two of the biggest games of his career? He didn’t win a Big 10 Championship because of that. Bryce won a Conference Championship and a Playoff game, neither thing Stroud can claim.
How do you give Stroud excuses you refuse to give Bryce? Bryce played out of his mind most that National Title game if you actually watched it. Lost his two top receivers and had them in it pretty late in the fourth.

Watching the games. Who stepped up in their biggest games.
Even RG3 mentioned Stroud's chip.Â
That chip really helped as he got blown out by Michigan both years. Did you not watch Bryce play at all?
Young knows what's up.
