fug it's so hard to watch this team. If it's not incomplete passes or picks, when we finally do make a completion every single one feels like it could be a pick. Oline can't do poo and every sack has a higher chance than not of being a fumble with Bryce.

Please let us drive the field for a td

It's not like the Panthers' have never had a QB that jumped when he threw passes.
Here is one example,
That said, the same guy used to do a one footed hop all the time on short passes.
Cam could get away with it because his throws were all arm and could go the distance regardless. Bryce's balls die off even with his feet set.

RB screen wasn't a bad call but Sanders sucks
It also doesn't help it was a rushed fade away jump pass

Damn Stroud unleashed an absolute skyscraping 60 yard bomb to Dell that got wiped out on an illegal shift penalty. I can't even imagine how exciting that must feel like to have your qb be able to throw a football down the field.

Levis, AR, and CJ all look lightyears better than Bryce has looked, which is crazy
Even O'Connell looks more advanced than him. Especially with the presnap stuff.

Lmao this is how Bryce was supposed to look for us

Wtf Bland might finish the season with more TDs than Bryce

I say this a lot, but holy fug I I hate Tepper.

What I wouldn't give to have Cam back on the team and see some energy from the fans and the team. Just have Bryce sit and watch and have the the oline run block and have Cam stunt all over these hoes. No more shitty pj walker packages to get in the way. Even at a shell of his former self he'd be better and more entertaining than this garbage.

Pound for pound given the circumstances, it may be Bryce considering what we invested in him and the time we will now have to sink into him just to salvage him. I don't think I've seen Bryce do anything well tbh.
He can't see the field. Literally he can't see over the line, so all his throws are high and I'm willing to guess blind. He can't see what the defenses give him, he locks into one guy and doesn't even scan the field or go through his progressions. His mechanics are just as bad, he has a slow delivery and doesn't get the ball out fast enough and his footwork is terrible. Somehow he has no touch or accuracy as well. He plays scared and I don't really see him having many leadership qualities that elevate his players like guys like Cam or Stroud. All this on top of his physical shortcomings like a weak arm and small stature leading to turnovers.
The only thing I like what I see from him is his anticipation at times, but even then it doesn't help because he doesn't have the arm to make the throws he sees, so his balls just sail or hang. He needs a lot of work, possibly too much for us.

Damn he is a point guard. He dribbled it like a basketball

Holy fug Bryce literally needs to work on every aspect of the qb position this offseason, on top of needing to gain strength. I can't believe we traded so much for this unpolished of a player on top of his physical shortcomings
-
I know we're poo, but this is one of the games I feel Dallas plays really bad and we either keep it close or they somehow lose off turnovers and shooting themselves in the foot. This is a perfect spot for one of Dallas' epic chokes.

Next offseason is all about Bryce .. Spend for weapons and Oline help.. Draft defense…
But but tepper said we didn't need to spend money on weapons because Bryce is a point guard! Save some money here, save some money there! The way he distributes the ball because you know, he's a point guard!

Some sports fans are masochists in a way. If you ever went to a browns or dolphins forum in the past, you'd think they sort of enjoy their team sucking ass. There's sort of a comradery or bonding when it comes to complaining or venting about your favorite sports team with others who share the same feeling, if that makes sense. If it's cheap enough, many will go to a game to for something to do and vent to the guy next to you and boo the team. Sometimes if your team is so bad (where we're heading) it's almost entertaining, like watching a comedy. We've been bad for a while, but not as long as some of these other teams and we've had way more recent highs of success, so we aren't exactly completely used to this yet. Panthers usually elevate themselves to mid to bad, but never yearly bottom feeder. My buddy is a dolphins fan and he still to this day isn't completely sold on the team and will complain and is waiting for their impending choke or collapse. It's hard to retrain his brain.

Of course offense marching backwards lmao

Lfg we get the ball beyond the 50 and Bryce didn't have to do anything
-
I don't think there's any coming back from that. We crossed the 50 like once all game and our lone td is still the return td
-
Damn I miss Cam. If we signed him off the couch to be basically our Taysom Hill I'd be so happy and actually look forward to watching some of these games.

Fwiw, in his first year, Trevor Lawrence was making throws like this. Alot of throws like this.

Now he actually looks like a legitimate NFL qb. So there is still hope.
Lawrence is the prototypical everything when it comes to a QB though. Huge, with athletic ability and a strong arm. Polishing him gets you a great QB. Bryce unfortunately is the complete opposite of everything and will always have his shortcomings working against him. I really hope we can salvage him, but it feels like he will be no more than a game manager if he pans out.
