  1. I'm not going to go crazy judging rookies in their first preseason action, but hopefully this will quiet the "Corral should be our starter crowd". He is a skilled, but developmental guy which has been said time and time again. That means he has a lot to learn and will hopefully get better with time...but Baker is clearly our QB1 and should be the starter

  2. I'm excited for our pre season game for once because we actually have a young promising QB to watch play. I'm hoping to see a good chunk of Corral play but I'm also curious to see how it shakes out. If they don't play Baker at all that pretty much tips their hand officially? (I mean we all know he's the starter but still)

If I have to watch Darnold and PJ Walker play the entire time than yeah I'm out

Lol it does matter if he’s a nutcase. I don’t care about Arnold but don’t like the 3rd rd pick if he is already acting like that in really only one season. Sorry if I’m not excited but I’m going to have to see it first.

Struggling with mental health does not make you a nut case. I could have missed something but I don't see "nut case" behavior

I would rather have Darnold than either of the QBs on the field last night.

I would as well but as a backup I'd rather have Kyle Allen or Heinicke then either PJ or Grier(when he was here). Hindsight 20/20 and everything....I suppose Heinicke didn't show a ton when he was with us in limited action either.

  5. It's all well and good to say we're going to limit CMC's touches until teams start blitzing/pressuring us and he comes out wide open for a short pass or abuses an LB in coverage and is wide open in the middle on every play. The guy catches everything and runs through people..... He really is the ultimate safety blanket.

It's hard to stop using him when it just works so much lol. If we are ever up a couple scores late yeah give him a break but otherwise feed the man.

  6. PFF is a tool just like any other....I rarely actually see anyone say "PFF IS THE END ALL BE ALL" people that disregard it entirely are foolish. The level of tracking and in depth analysis they provide is absolutely useful, especially over many games/ larger sample sizes. Def more accurate the huddle overreaction eye test I'd say 🙂

I liked Robinsons game, the advanced stats backed it up. It's cool to see a guy with a different path make some waves

I'm really not getting why Thomas is still working with the 1's.  Is he the only TE working with starters?

I'm thinking(or hoping) camp this year is just a "sink or swim" moment for him. I seem to recall a lot of dropping passes, running wrong routes, and having to run laps the past two camps...

  8. If we are taking a pass catcher and Pitts is there that is a no brainer to me. You can say he's just a TE all day long but some of the best weapons(ESPECIALLY in the red zone) in the league play that position and we have nothing there. I doubt he is there though

Otherwise go o-line/ secondary rest of draft lol

    1. Lawrence

    2. Wilson

    3. Fields

    4. Pitts

    5. Sewell

    6. Slater

    7. Lance

    8. Parsons
