Eh, actually it's the sidelines where he struggles; it take more arm strength to hit those passes.  That's the reason Bryce likes in-breaking routes and also the reason DBs jump his throws...because everyone knows this.

I didn’t say he could throw to the sidelines, I said he couldn’t throw to the middle of the field. I should’ve said he can’t throw anywhere other than behind the line of scrimmage.

Another thread full of poo talking instead of trying to have a football conversation.

Most posters never tried to answer the original question, just turned it into another Bryce trolling fest.

    Isn't that exhausting?

OP, my answer is WR.    They can stretch the field and help prevent 10 man boxes.  It makes the entire offense better.  (incoming post by trolls about Bryce can't throw deep, blah blah blah).

Bryce can’t throw deep or hit wide open receivers.

They do act like it against Bryce cause these haters seems CLUELESS that playmakers win games! Without them, most QB struggle all game long. Playmakers are the REAL MVP in my book and we traded our only elite one with breakaway speed to finally make Fields look very good!!!

And if anyone saw last night MNF game that once Tyreek Hill left the game with an injury while up by 2 TD, Tua struggles finding open receivers cause as the defensive backs are now able to double cover Waddle to upset the Fins who were favored by 13.5 over the Titans. Yet most haters here CONTINUES to BLAME Bryce for struggling cause he has NO playmakers!!!

Bryce missing a wide open Mingo should’ve ended this type of discussion. The kid sucks, we screwed up, let’s move on.

I rather enjoy the creative new ways to highlight how bad Young is. The copers need to keep being reminded or else they'll start to blame the weather for his noodle arm.

😂it is sad to see backups and IR guys with higher player values. They’re almost daring us to start Bryce like defenses dare him to throw on them.

The problem is a lot of players didnt fit his system. Not just Bryce.

Andrew Luck had his best season as a professional with Reich. Luck passed for 4,593 yards, threw 39 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions. Philip Rivers passed for 4,169 yards, threw 24 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. Carson Wentz passed for 3,563 yards, threw 27 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions.

Your Newbie name is right.  There were a lot of people that didn't want Reich.  He was fired during the season of his last head coaching job too.

I didn’t have a problem with him when he was hired. I just want someone competent. It’s obvious now that he doesn’t know how to adapt to his teams strengths and weaknesses. He’s a stick in the mud my way only kind of guy. However, he wanted Stroud because he fit his system and we gave him Bryce who didn’t. I’m struggling to picture Bryce in any system and don’t know why any coach would want to work with him.

I don’t hate you at all man.  I have a problem with people that follow the crowd no matter how ridiculous they might be.  Bryce needs at least a fair chance and 3 years with a competent staff.  People want instant gratification and that is the absolute wrong stance here.

Everyone can see how this team has zero talent on offense.  If Ikey isn’t good maybe Moton is ok?  It is a fuggin farce.

Add the atrocity of the play calling by these coaches and he has no shot

You expect us to watch 3 years of this? No one has called Frank Reich incompetent until he had to coach Bryce.

Trade him NOW. Just get whatever you can get. A 4th rounder, a 5th rounder. It doesn't matter anymore. He's cut after next season.

We’re past the trade deadline and no team would give us a 4th or 5th rounder for him. TMJ has more trade value than Bryce and no one wanted TMJ.

That’s it for me. Been a die hard fan since 1996. Tepper broke this franchise. He wiped out our identity. Him and Nicole meddling with football operations destroyed the immediate future of this team.

I spent tens of thousands of $$ over the years flying in from Germany and later Canada for games, home and away. Stayed up nights for prime time games. Just sat in my seat during the heavy downpour in Tampa last week, when 95% of the crowd went inside. Was trenched like never before.

I never thought this was possible, but I am cancelling the Panthers with immediate effect. I will find a team that gives my family and me joy on Gamedays. Thanks David and Nicole, you probably have no idea what you have done to thousands of fans like me.

To the Huddle, all the best!

I hear Steve Wilkes is rumored to be a head coach candidate again this year. If he gets a HC gig I’m going to start cheering for that team. There’s no hope for this franchise.

Interior line is an easy fix if you move Ickey inside, get Corbett or Christensen healthy again on the right and adjust the scheme issues.

The downside of course, as mentioned, is that leaves us needing a left tackle.

We need a LT when Ickey is playing LT.

He did all last year, and did pretty well when we had the run heavy scheme under Steve Wilks.

Icky played LT and BC played LG under Wilkes. BC started the last 2 or 3 games and one other earlier in the season a couple of years ago at LT. He was ok and all of us were ok with ok.

I say it every year and every year it proves true.  We are only as good as our O-line.  I know we need receivers and corners and a whole lot of things… but if we truly want to know if we have something with Bryce we must use FA and draft to build up the line first.

The only problem with this strategy is I don’t trust our front office to scout the right O linemen.  Ex. Ickey!

I agree 100%. We should pick the best available Center and Left Tackle with our first two picks and then move Ickey to Guard. Use the rest of the picks on WRs with high upside who actually produced in college. Bryce will probably still suck and we can use our first round pick in 2025 to reset at QB.
