Why is it that every time any decent player gets cut someone invariably starts a thread asking if they should come here?
It’s due to the large holes in our roster and everyone understanding our coaching staff can’t develop young players.

I don’t want Little Hands at all. We can’t afford to waste any picks.

Haven't you heard? Linderbaum has 31" arms. Rhule has forbid him to even be put on his draft board.
He’s on our draft board, as a fullback.

Im good with Linderbaum or a LT like Icky, Cross or even Penning at 6 if we can't trade back. Years of us ignoring the line shouldn't accompany complaining when we finally use a high pick to address the problem.

I'll admit I was part of that and I was dead wrong. At that time, I thought Matt Rhule knew what he was doing, and Teddy was a scrub. It turns out, Teddy knew what he was talking about and Matt Rhule is the scrub.
You’re not the only one. I didn’t realize Rhule was the problem until Teddy was long gone. I miss ole’ Teddy Two Gloves.

Ok, fair.
A question for you now:
What is our record this upcoming season with Watson as our QB? What is it the following season possibly without a first round draft pick?
Watson would make us contenders immediately.

Maybe the 5th or 6th years the charm?
Matt Rhule is counting on Thomas having a breakout year in his 7th season.

I recall last season when we signed Cam back and the town was electric. The mojo since then has totally gone south. At this point it is an amazing long shot Rhule can turn this around. Everyone is against him. If he does turn it around he is worlds better than people are giving him credit for right now.
He is the coach and we should all probably be pulling for him here. People are so full of hate these days.
We know he can’t turn it around. He doesn’t know that he’s incompetent at this level. That’s the real problem and why everyone hates him. He makes bad decisions that are setting us further back but he’s oblivious to his mistakes.

All this because Tepper wouldn't hire a consultant and instead fell in love with a head coach because they both sweat a lot.
Rhule’s wife also makes some damn good meatballs.

I don't remember Minshew being available. I agree with the Sam being an irresponsible option. In more ways than one.
He was available. The Eagles called the Jags and made it happen. We thought Sam and PJ were the ticket.

It’s just signing bridgewater all over again; the draft has little to do with “this year.”
Remember, it’s a 7 year plan.

This is a huge reach. I’ve never even heard of this guy. Would be an awful selection at #6. Jeremiah must be related to this player.
You don’t draft OL from no name colleges who don’t play anyone competitive in the first round.

He was a bully Senior Bowl week but I don’t want him a 6 either.

I have not once said this on this site until now. Fire Rhule immediately. Promote McAdoodoo.
Fire Fitterer while you’re at it. There’s no reason he should get a pass on this and I know Rhule has final say.

Genuinely curious to know why you think he's a fraud.
He has midget hands that are disproportionately smaller than Brady Christensen’s arms. If BC can’t play LT then Kenny Pickett can’t play QB.

What don't you like about him ?
The tape above is fantastic against LSU no less. He's definitely got the size at 6-7. As a recent convert from TE he's only going to get better at LT as he plays more. He seems like a great prospect.
Rhule will insist that he learn every position on the line and only play him at RG or C.

I think Tepper is just embarrassed about it at this point and fears he'll fug up just as bad next time so he's just going to stay silent and hide. I hope his kickball team does every bit as badly to further put the spotlight on his incompetent pro sports management.
He called it kickball.

none of those picks would matter with Sam "pick 6" Darnold throwing the ball.
Or Cam Erving playing LT.

Oh, I fully expect us to make a colossal mistake at QB this off-season. An absolute all-timer. We've made dumb decision after dumb decision at QB since Rhule was hired each being dumber and more desperate than the last. It all feels like it's setting the stage for a Herschel Walker trade level or Sean Gilbert franchise tag sign away level bombshell of a fug up this year.
Will we end up trading UP to take Pickett? Don't rule anything out with this dumbass.
I love it when you call him a dumbass.

Relax guys. In 365 days we will have a whole new coaching staff and #1 overall pick.
No we won’t. Rhule will totally trade away our 1st and 2nd round picks for next year’s draft. Our only hope is him going to Auburn.

This time of year, there will be so many rumors and smokescreens concerning QBs in the draft that you are best not believing anything and just using common sense.
Simply put, we had terrible QB play last year so of course you have to actually consider taking a QB or the very least pretending to.
Think about the different scenarios:
Team really doesn't want a QB, then they should really act like they want a QB hoping teams ahead of them take a QB so that pushes non-QBs down the board, such as a LT.
What if we do want a QB, shouldn't we act like we don't, so teams don't trade in front of us? Not really, it doesn't matter what we really plan on doing it matters what other teams think. Our QB last year was Sam Darnold, who didn't play well and is on last year of his deal, every other team in the league has to assume that QB is a possibility for us.
In regard to specific QBs, Fitt makes a statement and says something to the effect of Pickett and Willis and the other QBs. The fact he named 2 of the QBs by name and lumped all the other ones together got everyone looking for hidden meaning.
Maybe it meant nothing, maybe that was the first 2 names that popped in his head.
Maybe it meant that we like those two the most.
Maybe those are the two that Fitt feels are on the top of most other team's boards and therefore he is trying to hype them up and show interest hoping other teams trade up in front of us and move non-QBs down the board.
Maybe those are the two that Fitt feels are on the top of most other team's boards and therefore he is trying to hype them up and show interest hoping other teams take them and we can take someone like Howell or Strong, possibly even with a trade down.
Also I heard a report (or read an article I can't remember exactly where), that when Seattle drafted Wilson that they slow played it. They showed very little interest leading up to draft night.
The more I hear about us and Pickett the more I can see us trading down and taking Howell, if we do decide to go QB.
Our leaders aren’t smart enough to pull off a Jack move like that. If we say we like someone, we actually like them.

Howell or Pickett, come on down. You're the next QB of the Panthers. Pray to God or whoever you wish to protect you from the versatile line we put in front of you.
He mentioned Willis and Pickett by name and then said something about the other quarterbacks that were there as well.

I’m all for Willis but would take anyone over Pickett.
