We hadn't beat the Falcons in Georgia since 2014. Today was a good day brethren.

I say let’s tank. Then we don’t have to give up draft choices for a sex offender. Also, draft offensive linemen.
Well we are already down a second rounder. But if we had a top 5 pick we could trade down a couple times.

He is 24 and has a big arm. I guess the coaching staff just thought they could coach him up. But guaranteeing him 18 million before he took a snap was just stupid. He doesn't deserve it.

Its early, but Fields has looked pretty bad so far
Yeah but Fields in year 4 will probably be way ahead of where Sam is right now. I would have taken that bet.

The more I think about it now.....the more I believe Sam will get one final shot next season and if he does not make a dramatic jump in improvement, they'll just not re-sign him.
In the meantime, this sh*t needs to be turned around in a hurry. The Giants could(*COULD*) be the perfect Tonic for that but as the team proved, so could the Panthers for other teams.
Somethings gotta give.
We still have a lot of games left this season. If he keeps turning the ball over and has a record high in giveaways, I don't think he should return next season imo.

I actually think one of the biggest mistakes this coaching staff made this year was not bringing in any competition for Sam. At the very least they should’ve tried to get another young quarterback in to push Sam…for example like Trubisky. PJ is not that guy. Competition is good especially when you don’t have a proven starter.
A bigger mistake was not drafting Justin Fields. We would not have been good this year, but we would have a rookie getting some experience and our 2nd rd pick next year. Instead we gave up both of those for the guy who was the worst QB in the league for the past three years.
I think Darnold hasn't bottomed out either, its gonna get worse. He will get replaced by PJ at some point.

You will have to run the ball Matt Rhule, because otherwise you're QB will keep giving the other team the ball.

What defense is this poo
This is how every season goes. The defense looks good to begin with, the offense and special teams bad. Eventually the defense breaks and starts to play bad as well.

Yeah, no fuging poo dude. Why does this guy still have a job again?I think that these kind of updates are for the casual fans. Not the people who keep up with the Panthers during the week.

Already got that feeling like we aren't suppose to win this game. Since the second half of 2018 every season has felt the exact same.

We lose today we playing for draft position or we think we can turn it around?
It doesn't look like there is a top tier QB prospect in this draft.

Of course. It's always that way no matter the record of the team we are playing. It's sickening.
Its really weird, the Panthers have been two Superbowls the past 20 years. Not many teams can say that. Not the Cowboys thank goodness.

I don't think he has played much these past two games anyway.

Darnold continues to regress and looks like the worst QB in the NFL today
Panther fans after the game when Darnold gets sacked ten times.

True, but if we make a push for a new center and either LG or LT, this team is primed for a vet QB the way the Rams were IMO. I would hope to think a vet QB could help Joe Brady. Brady's inexperience is also why I feel we've avoided rookie QBs with Rhule.
I still do not want to give up two firsts for a 30 something year old QB. Would rather draft a QB on a rookie deal if we move on from Darnold after the season.

If Sam Darnold cant stop making the bone headed ints we aren't gonna go far with him at QB. Anybody can hand off/throw check downs to CMC.
I thought the reason we brought him in is he has a bigger arm than Teddy, his deep ball accuracy has been horrible.

I wanted us to win so bad today. I have a huge headache now too.

if we are to have any success with Sam we are essentially have to build a team like the 2019 49ers. Build a solid o-line and a great defense and keep Darnold within the system and make him never take chances unless the chance of success is close to 100 percent.
Getting the O-line fixed is a priority but the defense needs better depth also.
Every QB needs a 2019 49ers, not just Sam. Dak Prescott hasnt done anything special today, he has had all the time in the world to throw.

I think the line getting there ass handed too the can be a good thing if it creates change but I don’t think it will
I don't see how either of our lines will get any stronger from now to when we could potentially rematch this team. Wont be able to get more talent until after the season is over.

Just curious, who would've looked good with the way the O-Line has blocked the 2nd half? No one would look good behind this line right now, idc who they are.
The defense cant get off the field, and our Oline is struggling. Coaches being out coached. Sam is just trying to make a play. I don't really put a lot of blame on him when we are literally struggling in every facet today.
-
The Cowboys Oline is stupid good.

Darnold has more physical talent but Teddy is the far smarter QB. If you could combine the best assets of both you'd have an elite NFL QB, unfortunately alone they're both trash. Sorry.
Teddy, smart? Did you see how he talks on his burner twitter account?
Official my god how have we sunk so low Panthers at Falcons thread
in Carolina Panthers

You are right, I totally forgot about that game. Prior to that it was 2014.
