The negativity in the huddle is too high. Y'all need to chill

Bryce Young: A+. Franchise QB, best player in the draft.
Jonathan Mingo: B-. Love the player, but we have so many other needs over WR.
DJ Johnson: C-. You draft based on traits in the 4th-7th rounds. Not in the 3rd. He might also have character concerns. Plus the trade up was not necessary at all
Chandler Zavala: A. Great pick, value wise. Position of need. Chemistry with Ickey.
Jammie Johnson: B+.
Draft grade: B

They must really love Mingo

I seriously think we should trade down, there are many good players still available

Falcons jumped us....

O'cyrus Torrence still available if we go O-Line

Laporta is a bad blocker though.. We need a good one for Bryce. This doesn't change anything for us

Last week, Scott Fitterer highlighted our draft needs. For pick 39, we are considering drafting a DE, CB, WR, or LB.
I have concerns about the need for another LB. We already have Shaq and Luvu as our 2 ILBs for our 3-4 defense. It is unclear whether another LB would even start. In my opinion, another DI would be a much greater need for us. While DeShawn Williams and Shy Tuttle could be good additions, they are not game-changers. We need at least 3 competent/great defensive interior players, and currently, we only have one.

It probably won't be that low. The 58th pick last year was Nick Bolton. Jeremy Chinn was pick 64. You find good value in that area of the draft. This is a clear offensive rebuild and McCaffrey was not apart of their plans clearly.
And it can also be a Yetur Gross Matos. The hit rate for a Jeremy Chinn is pretty frigging low and even then, his impact on the team doesn’t come close to CMC’s. This is just a trade that a losing franchise would pull. It’s sad to say it, but that is what we’ve became.

He's not an elite player, he's a HoF talent.
We've had like 4 of those in Charlotte in 25 years and people are celebrating trading away the 5th one for peanuts.
Baffling.
This is the smartest reply on this board. There is absolutely nothing that is special on this team currently. Literally nothing.

It's not a bad haul. Not the 1st they were looking for, but a pretty good haul if you are truly going into an offensive rebuild.
Tell me how getting the 60th pick and the 90th pick in next years draft helps replacing a top 15 talent in the NFL. This is one of the worst trade in our history

What a bad trade

CMC has 158 yards on 212 total yrds. Yet we are open to trading him. What a poo show.

Trading CMC would be a tremendous mistake

Hartsfield is really underrated
-
21-14 Panthers win
- CMC gets 100 receiving yrds + 1TD, McAdoo’s play design offers a lot of quick passes and checkdown to take off some pressure off of Ekwonu who will also have a really good game.
- Brissett throws for 150 yards with one INT. Jaremy Chinn comes up with the pick.
- Run D is not as bad as expected, thanks to the emergence of Frankie Luvu. This forces Brissett to throw more than what was planned.

Dave Canales hire grade
in Carolina Panthers
Posted
Walterfootball has a good track record regarding coaching hire and fire grades. We might have something in Dave Canales.
