Just a reminder for everyone trying to grasp at straws, make excuses, and find a play here and there through none games to cling to... this is what you're hoping to see from #1 overall picks.

    Cam's first game highlights:

Cam had more highlights in his first game than Bryce has in nine. Hell, he had more by halftime. Bryce isn't gonna be anything like that. Now we're hoping he can just become a competent game manager and maybe not throw pick sixes on simple crossing routes.

    He threw 60 passes

    30 passes for 150 yards = trash
    but 60 passes for 300 yards = 😍

You are kind of misleading. He threw 58 passes but only 34 were completed. That's close to 10 yards per pass compared to Bryce's 4.2.

The receivers obviously aren't great but Dalton continuously pushed the ball downfield against the Seahawks and we are just praying for a first down with Young.

  3. The refs have been against us all season but this game has been insane. I watch Miller get hacked by two people and on the other end they give Tatum 3 free throws on a kick out. Don't get me wrong, Clifford is a horrible coach with the most pathetic rotations I've ever seen. McGowens continuously getting minutes while Boston ignores him bricking shots.

I don’t see him throwing Tepper under the bus. Frank came in and implemented the only offense he’s ever used and it doesn’t fit our roster and it also stinks. After 6 weeks of this poo show it sounds like Tepper suggested doing something to help Bryce out, but they haven’t. Now Tepper has made a bunch of bad hires, but the scheme vs. personal issues are all Frank imo.

Would make total sense if Dalton didn't air it out for 300 yards. Young can barely crack 200 and he's had 10 games. There is obvious signs of external forces making Frank run an offense he knows won't work with this unit.

I swear scheme is more important than results to these guys.

it was working. 5.7 yards/run average and you give him 10 Carries? We could have potentially run for 180 - 200 yards yesterday.

Any chance Tepper is forcing Reich to call more passing plays to see if Bryce gets better? Only thing I can think of besides the staff basically faking it till they made it in the NFL.

Don't get your hopes up folks. Tepper is going to let this drag out as long as possible because he knows he pushed them to draft the QB he wanted.

I don't see who would come in as head coach for the Panthers even if we did fire Frank. We have no draft capital for a new head coach and I highly doubt Evero takes the job as one.

  7. I saw Frank Reich at a grocery store in Charlotte yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Athlon Scout Magazines in his hands without paying.

The short girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the magazines and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her " You're too short to be a cashier" and then turned around and winked at me. I think I know who he was talking about.  After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Lets hope Ejiro is HC after tomorrow and that he is able to stick around.

Let's be real. Ejiro is declining the job offer just like he did with Denver and the Panthers are WORSE than last year's Broncos.

Re read the post. Then read it again. It was not the right decision. But no way that pass should have been a pick 6. That is on Mingo.

That ball was thrown like it was covered in molasses. I knew as soon as it was thrown that it was getting picked.

If Cam Newton was throwing that pass, it would have been caught because he throws lasers.

Reich is working with a QB he didn't want and that doesn't have what it takes to be a starting QB in the NFL.  I think Reich wants out of here as much as most of this board wants him gone.

Yup. I agree with you. Panthers don't have a lot of draft capital and are stuck with Bryce Young who severely handicap's their offense.

He throws a worse ball than Jake Delhomme did with Tommy John surgery.

  11. Sports Illustrated said Frank wanted Stroud and Tepper wanted Bryce. I don't think Stroud would elevate our offense but we definitely would be throwing more than 150 yards per game.

Mingo would probably have more yards as well since Bryce only throws out of bounds balls to him.

  12. Used to defend Bryce. I haven't seen any accuracy besides a pass to a no named Strachan. I have seen him throw 4 pick 6's in a season and fumble the ball many times.  We traded away our 2 best offensive players to watch Bryce throw 2 yard checkdowns all game. When he tries to throw over 10 yards, it's a pick 6. He sucks and it is a huge pill to swallow with how we gave up a King's Ransom for him

You all know Tepper was the diving force behind the Young pick.  Never before did the S2 test get so much hype.  You think that was the coaches, lol?

Yeah, Frank wanted Stroud. Tepper forced them to draft Young and Reich designed the playbook around Bryce. I used to defend Bryce but it's getting more obvious every week that he is not cut out for the NFL. Definitely not #1 worthy.
