i concur sir. it was one game.

I'm tempted to make a new thread asking this but I'll restrain and just ask you, how would you feel if all the QBs were taken and we picked Patrick surtain and doubled down and sent our 2nd for JC jackson? I know, sounds crazy but if we don't get a QB I think I'd rather just go all out to repair the defense

in the way they didnt get fined or in trouble for it, and they are picking ahead of us ended up able to parley that pick into more draft picks. worked out well to me.

People remember these tanking maneuvers for like a week or two then everybody doesn't care anymore. It's a goofy narrative to not tank. To tank a whole season? Maybe I could see the argument for why that's dumb. Tanking ONE game that could decide your franchises entire future? Yeah, you find a way to do that.

  3. In my opinion the week we played WFT the writing should have been on the wall for tepper/rhule to see. It was clear even to me, just a fan, that we were in a race with the falcons for a top 5 pick. I KNEW if we won against WFT and falcons continued losing, they would have pick 3 or 4.

So if I knew, why didn't they? In a draft like this one where there's so many good QBs. Knowing teddy sucks. Knowing Matt ryan is getting older. It was just a foolish move not to find a way to lose that game.

A situation like that calls for PJ walker or Grier to start "to see what we have"... Something. Anything.

Now the falcons will grab our quarterback with no good QB in sight for us anytime soon. They don't grow on trees folks. We were lucky to even have a chance at any of these lottery guys and we needed to find a way.

I swear I don't want to see Teddy Toiletwater play for the Panthers ever again. Even if that means that we draft Mac Jones. F u c k  it we got get another QB now.

That's what I'm saying. The feeling is one of impending doom if teddy starts even 1 game next year. Not to mention nobody likes him at all, the Panthers have thrown him under the bus all off season (for good reasons) and going out and giving his all probably isn't in his plans . If I had to guess

We do know how awful. We also know giving up tons of assets to get “anybody other than Teddy” isn’t a smart football decision. If we can’t get a QB in the first then get a stud LT to protect him when we finally do get one. Don’t trade away 3+ firsts just to get ANYBODY else. That is nearsighted and reckless

A stud Left tackle for teddy B. That would be like rewarding your very worst student in the whole class.

You should probably not take this sh*t so seriously.  Trust me, there will be more QB's available next year.  It's not like they've quit making them or anythingthing.

And the year after that there will be some, and the year after that there will be some, cycle continues... And now years later when we finally find the right guy our core of good players are old and washed. Can't wait

Technically nothing matters because we are in an infinitely expanding universe that we inherently cannot even grasp and within the history of time we are but a spec buried in the sands of space and time forever alone, forgotten, and insignificant.

Verge... Big fan of what you do. Sucks my first time ever speaking to you has to be on a sorrow thread. Can we get some thoughts from you on this QB situation? As a whole?

Ok, you can have Darnold for a 3rd.

The fact that you made that joke thinking it was funny shows you aren't a panther fan. Darnold is night and day better then bridgewater and it's not close. We would take him and the joke would be on you

Who is letting him walk? Where the hell are you coming up with this right now? He’s not going anywhere.

Ummm, we can offer a contract, that's the most we can do... He isn't obligated to accept it. Again, I'm sure the jags made a hell of an offer to Allen Robinson years ago. How did that turn out? Teams will line up to give DJ the bag with the production he's had. Don't be naive

Sir, please step away from the edge! It's not worth it! There are many more reasons to live for than crying over TB! TB as QB is not the end of the world! We survived a coronavirus pandemic, we can survive the TB pandemic!

This made me laugh thanks for that. Needed that

Tired of waiting? Teddy was the QB for all of one season. You are tired already?

This is exactly my point. When Luke and Cam left we all knew this would take 3+ years. And one year later you have lost all patience in finding a QB...

Because teddy is awful and I'm thinking bigger picture. The consequences and ramifications of stalling this out another year. You did see Allen Robinson leave the jags right? Because I'm sure they would have loved having him back .

When he goes to another team fug him, he has not done enough as a panther to deserve any type of team transfer loyalty.

He's had one of the best starts to a 3 year career of any WR we've seen, only outdone by the julio's of the world, the odell's in their prime.. all while having horrible QBs. Are you serious?

Legitimately meant to type 22 (still wrong, he’s 23 now) but point being that your doom and gloom bullshit is nonsense and everyone that understand football knew this rebuild would take longer than two years ffs

As did his contract, are you even aware of how much cal space we have in coming years? You childish crybabies are getting obnoxious. “I WANT A QB!!!!! NOW!!!!!!!!”

Grow up. These things take time. Get over yourself

To keep things civil I'll agree with you this stuff takes time. I'm just gonna say I'm very very tired of waiting. And again, our next Q isn't magically gonna fall from the sky. We will not sniff the #1 pick next year and that is what it will take

  14. Just now, TheMostInterestingMan said:

Well in that case you are right. Retirement is imminent, his career is basically over. Maybe we can get him to sign for one more year at vet minimum.

Nah. Wrong again. More like, this situation is Allen Robinson jags all over again and he's gonna leave because he SHOULD be a top 5-10 WR, but because we can't get him a QB he suffers.

When he goes to another team I'll still have my DJ jersey to remember him by ❤️

He's gonna be 24 in 2 weeks but no worries bro. I'll let you off the hook for sounding dumb

DJ Moore is fugging 21. I swear half this board is made up of absolute morons

21? So we drafted him when he was 18? Don't even reply to this until you know how old our players actually are lol. Embarrassing, and yes he's young but his rookie contract is almost over as well
