  1. I was just being a dick there. I see your point, and you are correct. I have just always viewed a lifestyle as something that more defines you as a person. But, by it's definition, fitness or lack of fitness, is a lifestyle choice.
  2. I'm looking at getting back on another mass gainer. Last one I took was Serious Mass by Optimum Nutrition. I had decent results with it. Anyone have a good gainer to get on before my cutting cycle?
  3. By this definition, your lifestyle is literally everything. I walk through doors every day. Walking through doors is my lifestyle.
  4. It's certainly possible. You just have to push yourself pretty hard. You'd be amazed at what your body can do if you just don't let it give up.
  5. We have very different views of what having a "lifestyle" really entails. So, our disagreement is born from that and the discussion is moot.
  6. What in the holy hell fug are you even talking about at this point?
  7. This thread has gotten off topic, and it's my fault. I just think it's important that people be supportive of anyone who wants to improve their physical health, no matter how small the change. Anyways- I was able to reach my max on bench this morning. I was pretty proud of that. It's a good feeling, even if it does occur in an empty gym at 4:30am.
  8. This is my point. That's exactly how it is for YOU Not everyone is that way. Congratulations on changing your life for the better. I think that is great and something everyone should do if they want to. But it's not some massive life overhaul and reversing years of bad habits for everyone. For some people, it's just a matter of filling a little bit of extra time by walking to the gym at their apartment complex. Fitness is a lifestyle for me, but not even in the same way it is for you. I didn't have to reverse years of bad habits or anything like that. I just had to get up and do it. I had to mentally prepare myself every day until it became part of me and part of who I am. But I understand that is not the same for everyone.
  9. Nearly every aspect of this post is wrong, but go ahead believing that what fitness is for you is the same for everyone. This is exactly the attitude that bothers those who don't take it as seriously as others.
  10. I will say it is definitely brought on by jealousy. People who don't workout criticize others for being "crazy" about it, as if it's unhealthy to exercise. It is also brought on by people who take fitness very seriously thinking they are the world's personal trainer. More often than not, people who take fitness very seriously have a tendency to throw it in other people's faces and try to give them fitness advice when they aren't looking for it. It's the condescending attitude that frustrates people into making snide little comments. Fitness is extremely important to me, but I am very quiet about it. If someone asks, I will give them an answer. Otherwise, I find no need in throwing it in their faces.
  11. I go to the gym every single day. It is my lifestyle. My girlfriend gets benefit from going to the gym for no more than 30 minutes 3 times a week. That is no more her "lifestyle" than reading every night before bed for 30 minutes is my "lifestyle."
  12. I agree with you. I think he was just countering PSC's condescending "fitness is a lifestyle hurr durr" comment he made. People can still benefit from fitness without it being their lifestyle.
  13. I've gained 4lbs. in the last 7 days. Jeez. The two weeks prior to that I gained less than 1 lb. fug plateaus.
  14. Most comfortable running shoes I have ever worn. Hefty price tag, but I strongly recommend them.
  15. Quinoa is my jam. It's a great side. If you get a chance, make some garlic-parmesan quinoa.
  16. There is definitely a way to take fitness too far. Sure, your physical health may be tremendous, but it can certainly take a toll on your mental health. I agree though. Implying that anyone who is dedicated to fitness has some sort of disorder is absurd. It takes time and it becomes a big part of your life. I don't think that's unhealthy at all.
  17. Luckily I'll never have a problem like that. I'm about as hard a gainer as there is. I consume upwards of 6000 calories per day and I still can't get much bigger. It really sucks.
  18. Yea. I really liked C4. That's what I was using before Assault. 1.M.R. doesn't taste good, but I'm not too concerned with taste.
  19. I haven't taken 1.M.R. in well over a year. Maybe I will give that one a shot again.
  20. I will definitely look into Noxipro. Somehow that one has managed to elude me. Thanks! Have you ever heard of Bullnox? I've heard some pretty good things.
  21. I need a good preworkout. I'm finishing my Assault cycle. I don't recommend buying it. I have tried almost everything. C4, NO Explode, Jack3d, 1.M.R., and a few others. Which do you guys prefer?
  22. I need something other than a massive caffeine boost. That's why I thought Jack3d would be perfect for me. I tried Assault once, but that jam is full of fillers and makes my stomach pretty upset. I think I'm going to give Hyde a shot.
  23. Hmm. I really got nothing from Jack3d. I thought it was useless even at 3 scoops. May look into Hyde.
  24. Yea. When I switch over to a new supplement, I typically take a week off from it. I'm up at 4am to work out, so I need something more than coffee to wake me up. It's tough without a supplements, so I usually don't go too long without. C4 lasted me the longest of any pre-workout supplement without building a tolerance, but now it just doesn't really get the job done.
