Good news , now give CMC the ball heâs paid to play and we need this win. Just be smart with his touches and let somebody else stay in the backfield to protect the QB , I think thatâs is worst on his body.

I'm old enough to remember a time when the majority of Americans willingly got vaccinated, knowing it was the right thing to do for themselves and those around them. Those few that didn't get vaccinated were considered weirdos and conspiracy nuts. Â
Some things never change.
So you think the Tuskegee experiment was a conspiracy ?Â

Until Aaron is able to act like a responsible adult and get vaccinated, he can remain isolated.
Unless I forgot were in the USA not a communist country , so itâs nobody business. So you must think we  should tell people what to eat, drink and what they smoke also. You do know Rodgers is not the only starting QB in the NFL who did what he thinks is right for him.

I hope not! We need CMC healthy for the last quarter of the season and, hopefully, into the playoffs. Give him some touches but with caution.
We need to win now 1 game at a time then we can think about the playoffs.

If they have any creativity at all theyâll line him up to receive out of the backfield and in the slot and keep Hubbard as the primary tailback getting 20 carries a game. CMC has the best hands on the team. Maybe top 5 in the league. Throw him some short routes where he doesnât get hit and be productive WHILE saving his body. The goal is to winâŚnot make CMC OPOY.Â
CMC gives us the best chance getting the carries at tailback not Hubbard unless you want to lose. Give CMC the carries and get Robbie and DJ back involved in this offense. We donât need to save him what we need is victories and like you said we have Hubbard or what ever street free agent RB because anybody can play there.

He will get 35 touches this weekend if active.Â
RB committee goes out the window.Â
Why does it matter ? If he helps us win great .A lot of posters think we can just go find RB out on the street or anywhere in the later rounds of the draft so if we use him up what is the big problem ?
-
Rhule said CMC has to pass the Panthers ready to return to play so do you think Rhule holds him  out so he can have him for later in the year or do we think CMC is holding his self out or CMC is really injured and takes longer than normal to come back from injuries. I mean the Titans said Henry could be back in 6 weeks if everything goes perfect . Which that is a big if.

Derrick Henry may be out for the season now. Investing big in rbs is looking more and more dicey in the nfl these days.
Â
That could also apply to WR , Thomas with the Saints , Beckham with the BrownsÂ

I refuse to give up 3 future first rounders for almost anybody, but I fear Tepper will do it, despite everything I've told him at brunch. He doesn't listen to me anymore. Titans are the ONLY team whose offense is built around an elite back, yes they are good, but they are the exception, not the rule. I think you are looking at Hubbard's stat line and saying that was a poor day, without actually watching the game and seeing what he did on the field, under what conditions, and where there is room for improvement in his game. He's only a rookie, yet he's pretty obviously already superior to any rookie later round back we've ever drafted. When I have a QB that can make us competitive and an offense line that lets him do so with solid pass protection, then I *might* start to worry about whether our RB is good enough to put up stats that will make fantasy owners like him. But it's more likely I'd just work on our pass rush even more.
I have watched him and what I see is a avg. back and the stats back it up not just his but the offense as a whole when he is in their. The fact is the teams I listed have a better back then Hubbard but if CMC can stay healthy we have the elite back now we just got to find the QB and we could have picked Jones in this draft if our coaches wasnât so concerned with building around the defense.

What I'm saying is that if you think having an elite rb is necessary to winning in the NFL, then tell 1986 I said hello. Elite RB's are vastly overrated in the NFL as the difference between their production and a run of the mill back rarely tends to make the difference in winning. Outside of the TItans being built around Henry, name a current winning team built around an elite RB. Given what an elite RB costs, and the hard reality of the cap, RB is not where I would prefer to spend my team's precious salary cap space.
Yes, I am the fan who likes CMC just fine, but would happily trade him to acquire an elite QB. Tell me which combo you think has a better chance of winning a SB: Darnold and CMC, or Watson and Chubba Hubbard?
We do need to be better to win against the better teams in this league, but in 2021, it's far more critical to be better at positions crucial to the passing game, than the run game, hence Hubbard's play at RB will do for me, since I'm far more focused on getting our OL and QB situations fixed, and not at all concerned about your perceived need for elite RB play.
Darnold and CMC to win the SB but it doesnât matter what you or I think because weâre not getting Watson.Titans are the best team in the AFC and they have a Elite back.Titans, Rams , Buccaneers, Saints , Raiders ,Bengals,Chiefs ,Bills , Browns , Cardinals , all have guess what not only better records and of course QBS,  but also better RBS then Hubbard. Your opinion that itâs far more critical to be better at the passing game is correct but thatâs another reason Hubbard will never be elite thatâs the worst part of his game and something that CMC is great at and it shows on the field because our passing game is head and shoulders better when heâs in the game. Who would you take CMC and Mac Jones  or Watson and Hubbard  Minus 3 future first round picks ?

You're absolutely wrong. He has the skills to be very good. He just needs some bulk. He looks like a college RB right now but after some bulk he will break tackles and be like CMC in the run game.Â
You just donât know what your talking about his Pro Day weâre you usually have better times then at the combine his quickness and explosive drills were avg to above avg. not to mention he doesnât have the elite vision . He can be a good back but that his his ceiling so wish all you want to it want change who he is.

3.4 in the second half when it's obvious your team is declining the throw the ball unless they have to is nothing to sneeze at. As bad as our interior OL has been this year, they opened holes for the RB's all day today. Even when it was obvious we were running the ball and the box was stacked. That's not nothing. I've been a harsh critic of the OL play, so I have to give credit where due. Both OL and the RB's played well today, don't get fooled by numbers, see what your eyes actually tell you watching the game.
Might eyes tell me 25 touches and 91 yards is not going to cut it , but if your ok with avg. play thatâs on you. Open your eyes to see his quickness is not equal to the elite backs in the league. So he is what he is but we will need better to win against the better teams in this league. Â

Hubbard after a year of weight training should look a whole lot like CMC in the run game.Â
Weight training is not his main problem he was above avg in the quickness drills not elite , so I donât think he will ever be a top 10 back in league. But I will give him props for a good game but 3.4 is not going to cut for the year.
-
25 Touches is way to many for Hubbard , we have to get DJ involved if weâre going to win against the better teams we will face coming up
-
Like it that we won today but 25 touches is to much for Hubbard weâre not going to win against the better teams on our sch with this type of offense . DJ has to get more looks in the OffenseÂ

Nobody is trading a first for cmc regardless if he comes back next year and plays 17 games. We are one of the few nfl teams that still drafts rbs in the top 10. The other team off the top of my head is the giants and look at Barkley. We are a poorly run franchise. Nfl teams do not value rbs like that. Add in injury history and we would be  lucky to get a 2nd from a team.Â
You forgot the Cowboys

Well we have the highest paid RB in the NFL.  Are adding JAGs and bust at QB and investing the D.  I call that being built around a RB. Â
Well we have 55 percent of our cap space invested in the Defense side of the ball which is what you call being built around the defense.CMC is the 5th highest cap for a RB in 2021 Henry 13,500,000 Barkley 10,025,692 Gordon 8,941,176 Mixon 8,126,471 CMC 6,899,500 Elliott 6,820,000 Ekeler 5,750,000 Cook 5, 113,026 Kamara 5,000,000 Hunt 4,870,588 Chubb 4, 782,381 Jones 4, 464,705  The top teams still spend on the RB and thatâs the number 1 seed in the AFC Bengals and 1 seed in the NFC Packers . So CMC cap hit is not the reason we are losing you might look at we have like 25 percent of our cap in dead money.

He had a big jump in noticeable muscle mass from years 1&2 to 3. Like everyone was talking about it lol. More than a traditional nfl workout regimen. His brother got busted twice and suspended twice in the nfl for performance enhancing drugs. He keeps getting these injuries. My guess is heâs juicing in the off-season then going off them to avoid drug tests. I played college ball and knew guys who juiced and it kind of fits. Just a guess though.Â
I hear you , Â from the information I gather beside Qb and kickers probably over half today NFL players are juicingÂ

But that wouldnât be hard to go into a season and not want your rookie RB you are developing be your featured RB.  You Named a bunch of teams that easily put backfields together that get the job done.  Bucs, Rams, etc,Â
I donât know what Rhuleâs goal is he is building toward on O. Â Presently we are built around a RB. Â
Â
Weâre built around the defense and thatâs why we draft more on that side of the ball since CMC got here. It would be more accurate to say the RB is our best offense player but tell me how did we build around the rb when we have not given him a o line to play with? Once again Iâm not saying build the team around a rb you should build around the able but when we drafted cmc we thought we had the qb in place with Cam so I dont think we were trying to build around the rb

Why do you think CMC juices ? He was 185 coming out of high school then he was 202 out of college and maybe 208 now , I think heâs just put to much emphasis on his quads and power .
CMC just got activated and Sam cleared the protocols.
