Yeah, he is a nightmare pick for us. The only guy I could see maybe doing okay in our circumstances is baby hands.

But I wouldn't want to spend a 6th on him.

    Same dude.

Hear me out here though. Keep Darnold, sign Matt Ryan for cheap (he would be pissed and want to fug up ATL), and draft Willis. We're going to suck anyway. Why not make it entertaining?

Cool.. I'm excited to have a team and a chance for something to happen.. Even if we don't get Watson.. I still like the roster and can see improvement with better more experienced coaching..

It won't happen. 5 wins on deck. QB situation is still garbage. You can't win well without a good QB.

Its fuging life.. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose but you stay in the race..

Panthers haven't been in the race in 3 years, and about to be 4 years. I'm not excited for this season, nor will I be if we don't get Watson. I will however be excited NFL Red Zone exist. Shut up and take my money NFL! There ya go! EXCITEMENT BABY!

fug your excitement!! Let's just build a team that can win consistently..

If your not excited to have a football team in your city that you can watch and support then you're not a fan anyway..

So you have to be excited knowing your team is going to suck? Alrighty. That's some weirdo poo I can't understand, but cool.

And, This deal is going to hamstring NO or ATL for the next few years. W Brady on the way out, this could be a blessing in disguise… if we can find a QB, that is.

Big if, and since the salary cap doesn't exist to NO because they just kick the can. How exactly will it hamstring them?

He has the best physical skills of any QB in this draft. He also has a history of completely melting down against any difficult competition.

He is the classic high risk, high reward guy. Super high ceiling, super low floor.

He's a guy that should sit for a year, and if he does will flourish I believe. If not, and he gets in early his head could be completely screwed. Sadly, he would have to start here for us.

If the Falcons can't make it work, he comes to the Panthers. I think he went back to NO because something just wasn't right. So he was giving them one more chance before he makes his decision. It's FALCONS or PANTHERS, IMHO!

Na, the Owner met with him.

So will the other 3 teams who don't get him..

But what you debbie downers refused to realize is..

This whole waiting process the team still improved the roster.. Adding a better IOLMEN SAFETY, we depth and a powerback..

Improved the roster and it won't matter. Because we're about to start a Rookie QB, or some journeyman and win another 5 games this year. Yeah, I'm super amped.

My Read: Texans want Panthers, Watson wants Falcons, Saints are the comprise.

No. Texans REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want the Panthers.

Saints don't have the assets nor the offer we're offering. But will get him. Watson wants the Falcons but the Falcons can't move parts around like they should.

    Nooooo!

Just come out and be truthful.. We swing and we missed but we won't stop trying to improve this team and bringing a winner to the Carolinas..

You can't help but respect that..

Tepper put all his eggs in this basket, and he's going to leave with a ton of egg on his face. Is what it is.

obvious where he's going, just trying to find Ryan a home is all.

Easier said than done. Indy just got rid of a guy with worse stats, and is younger than Matt Ryan. Not sure why they would trade for a dude that's 37 and has 20 TD's from last year.

Hey would absolutely get heckled and fuged with in Atlanta too.  Its not like they're some monolithic society down there.  Im sure there are many, many people who live in Atlanta who are disgusted with Watson, just like anywhere else.

Kinda funny. In Charlotte, no one would care nearly as much at Atlanta. That's the funny thing about this.

Its been fun but honestly I don't care either way. If we get him I am all in. If not, I am hopeful for a good free agency period and draft. I also hope Rhule has a shitty season and gets fired so that we can at least have some fun again next offseason.

If we don't get Watson, not sure you have to "hope" for that.

    Ugh

Deshaun Watson is also meeting with the #Niners, per league source.  I’m told the #Saints remain the front runners, based on trade assets and their desire to acquire the 26-year-old superstar QB. Decision likely by tomorrow.

9ers reporter said that was BS. They don't have a first round pick until 2024.

    Again, that doesn’t really matter.

If Watson wants Atlanta they’ll figure something out. They could send them Pitts or Terrell and they have the 8th pick.

But then wouldn't they have to trade Matt Ryan after he just restructured? Boy. This is getting confusing as hell.

Houston isn’t just going to give him away but if Watson wants NO over Carolina then a package of what I mentioned is good enough to get a deal done

TBF, you gave what the Saints can give up. Didn't say anything about Watson.
