You stated there was nothing about him being suspended. Which it plainly stated in the article you posted was something all teams knew was still possible. But you conveniently stopped cut and pasting at that point. Yes or No?

And you should strive to be something more than a person who has to keep changing alts on a message board because you constantly look foolish while claiming to be the only “informed” one. That’s something to brag about. Not everyone is a complete loser like the guy you see in the mirror.

Define irony. I will break that down below:

    1. Saying a user has an alt on an internet forum (immediately shows you're getting in your feelings).

    2. Bragging about your supposed $100 million company on an internet forum.

    3. Having a Steelers profile picture/actively rooting for the Steelers on an internet forum dedicated to the Carolina Panthers.

    4. Last, and not least. Getting in your feelings, and calling someone a name on an internet Forum on a Sunday before 12 PM EST (most people are on their first cup of coffee). While said person you were quoting didn't call you a name.

    Take care.

So where is this solid report that confirms Watson isn’t being investigated by the league? It sure wasn’t in the article you posted by Newton. I hope your last alt was better at this.

Don't recall saying he's not being investigated. I said I would like to see the facts about him being suspended for sure. Which there isn't one.

I just hope to be one day as cool as you bragging about your $100 Million company on a website that's for the Panthers, where you glowingly root for the Steelers. Just one day I want to be as cool as you. Appreciate your candor though.

Literally all of them. He has been reported to have a trade coming imminently many times.

In starting to understand what you "buy". Anything that leads to what you want

Na. I just know the difference between those "reports" and what's actually being reported. None of those reports about Watson were even remotely reported by solid insiders. So, I didn't take them serious. But I digress.

The one thing that really concerns me, is that our front office might be the worst negotiators in the NFL.  They completely outbid themselves for Sam Darnold last year, and it looks like they might be doing the same thing now for Watson, but on a bigger scale.

If everyone's ducking out of the Watson game left and right, we should stand firm with a reasonable offer.  Watson WILL NOT play for the Houston Texans.  If they don't trade him, they are just bleeding his potential trade value year after year.  They're really in a bind with this.

IMO we should offer something like 2 1sts and CMC as the meat of the offer.  If they want more than that, just say good luck trading a QB who's sat out for two consecutive seasons for that.

I'm even okay with CMAC, Burns, 2 1st and a 2nd rounder. That's a hell of an offer. Even Brown. That's not gutting our team at all for him. When CMAC can't stay healthy, Burns is a pass rusher and that's it, and Brown is an average at best DT.

Pete Carroll could be 100 and he would still be an infinitely better coach than Matt Rhule. Not to mention he and the Seahawks have a certain trophy in their possession. If you can really convince yourself they are an inferior franchise you are deluded and too invested in this.

That trophy was from a SB that happened before the last time the Panthers went to the SB. This isn't prime RW, prime Richard Sherman, prime Legion of Boom Seattle. Seattle sucks right now. Period. Has less players than Carolina does. And just traded and released what was left from those SB teams. Saying a franchise is better all time is hilarious. The Cowboys are better than the Panthers because they won SB's in the 90's. Should Watson go there?

Show me the link where this “report” is please

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Carolina Panthers will make an "aggressive" offer for Deshaun Watson as soon as the Houston quarterback waives his no-trade clause for them to negotiate with the Texans, a league source told ESPN.

An issue with having the clause waived is not anticipated, the source said.

It's not about what they would love, like, or hate. It's about Watson having the legal ability in his contract to force what he wants.

Yeah, but again. He wants out of the Texans bad enough and is willing to waive that clause.

You guys keep going back to the clause thing, when it's been reported he will waive it. For an article that was about the Panthers offering up the biggest package.

I doubt that matters in the grand scheme of things.  Location to family doesn’t move the needle when your franchise is ringling brothers circus

Yeah, people keep talking about how downtrodden this franchise is. Not realizing his only option as of right now is a Franchise that just traded and released the majority of the reason they had 7 wins last year. LOL.

His options right now aren't exactly between the Rams and the Bengals. Come on guys.

If Watson says yes to Seattle and no to Carolina then the Texans don't have much of an option. There only leverage here is refusing to trade him at all and continuing to pay him to sit at home.

Yeah, I'm sure the Texans would love trading him to Seattle for a worse package than Carolina is offering. Leverage or not. I'm not sure they would be thrilled trading him for a worse package, when they can try to convince Watson to go to Carolina.

With no clarification. That could mean he's willing to waive it period. It could also mean that he simply won't block the move if it's the only option on the table. If there are two competing offers, Watson has the ability to choose his fate, that's all I'm saying.

Yeah, but the Texans will also have to approve where they want him to go. It's been reported the Texans love what Carolina is offering. Nothing about Seattle. But Jeremiah saying his buddies around the league think he's going to Seattle. Which is close to you as a Mod on the Carolina Huddle saying your buddies around the Huddle think you're going to the park today. That's about that equivalent.

We'll have a D that has lost two of it's top three CBs and both of it's starting edge rushers (Houston would demand Burns). We'd also probably be short another key young starters, possibly Chinn. After spending the last couple of years building the D we'd be right back to the bottom of the league on D again.

Top 3 CB's? Horn's getting traded too? I think it's Brown, and Burns that would be gone.

And eh. I think the defense was going to be average regardless this season. They weren't shutdown last year and even got torched by average Kirk Cousins. So yeah.........
