I was cool with them....then the Cam is selfish and can't handle adversity without pouting thing started

That's what you get with SEC country. And if you thought UGA/Falcons fans were having a bad time, UT/Titans fans are probably on a whole new level.

lol everybody just turns into a sore sport when the panthers are good enough to beat them

i don't care if the panthers have to sail an ocean of opposing teams' tears to win the superbowl. actually it would be more fun that way. the packers (and their fans) are taking this loss like the panthers shouldn't be beating them because they don't have the heritage. it's the biggest display of sour grapes I've seen going beyond even the 2013 season. get sh*t on.

This is why I didn't understand all the Packers love and respect leading up to this game.

Sure, the Wisconsin natives are knowledgeable and they have some great players and all, but the folks who haven't ever set foot in Wisconsin are the St Louis Cardinals fans of football because of this entitlement mentality right here.

I have a bad memory....but I see we would have had to move way up to get him.

Initially there were mocks that had teams taking fliers on him at the end of the first round. Panthers even brought him in for a pre-draft visit, probably hoping to do just that.

But once his knee was declared 100% healthy the bandwagon was loaded and mocks had him going as high as 9 to the Giants.

Glad we 1st played the Saints early in the season while they were a hot mess.  They seem to be getting their act together.  Could be dangerous later in the season.

It was the McCown game that turned it around.

That's the only reservation I have about tomorrow's game. We were supposed to end the season of a team in complete disarray that week, too.

  5. you're right, none of us know. I mean how would I know he punched two teammates in the face, berated fellow WRs in front of the media, gets into fights with cornerbacks like every single year in training camp (he still does it in Baltimore). Or how about when he took time out to personally confront Jermaine Wiggins in front of his children because he said something on a radio show years prior (this was right after they lost in the playoffs to New England last year)

who would know that he did any of that?

"He just has that fire, don't ya know?!"

As fans, we make excuses for the behavior of the players on our team because we want to believe that what we cheer for is all good and moral and right.

But now that we're all on the outside looking in, I can't for the life of me see why you would want Greg Hardy and Steve Smith back on this team given the way things have transpired.

  6. Funny how I never heard any boos coming from the BOA stands when he played in Carolina.... but he leaves and suddenly he's the worst thing that ever happened to the team.

As I stated, I'm not advocating his return to the team by any stretch, but what he's done with his career should be respected and admired, regardless of your personal feelings.

I don't particularly like anything about Michael Jackson, ever, but I gotta give him his due respect for an amazing career.

There's a time and a place to look back and have good memories about Steve Smith.

What you Smitty disciples don't get is that time is not now and won't be at least until he hangs up the cleats, maybe even longer than that,.

As Jase said, it's fitting that he gets to spend his last years on a bad team racking up numbers. He's much older now and would expect the locker room to be the way it was when he left, and that's never going to happen.
