what the hell is ginn doing. you gotta let that drop
Coverage was right there. Can't chance a possible touchback. Much better off taking it at the 5 as opposed to the 1.

Wait to chant mvp until Cam throws or runs for a TD. Some fans, man...
He was running across the field pointing to the crowd after giving the ball away. The fans responded appropriately.

Ah, yes. The "End of Week Optimism" post, which always shows up after everyone gets all their anger and hopelessness out from the previous week's game because folks get tired of posting the same depressing takes.
Then the game happens on Sunday and the vicious cycle starts again.

that was a well designed play is what that was, plus minn's corner bit on the inside route. play was set up almost like a down the field screen with fitz there to run as a blocker. very nice
All these takes on personnel matchups are great but the x-factor here that I'm glad you pointed out is that Bruce Arians is probably the best gameday tactician in the league.

I will give them credit for being the first crappy team we've played that isn't delusional about how crappy they are.
The difference is they're coming off a demoralizing loss as opposed to a big "Maybe we turned a corner!" win.
Slip up here and that board looks completely different once Week 16 rolls around.

The great thing about the NFL draft is the incoming talent pool is typically deep enough that, aside from a need at QB (which they don't have, despite what some on there think) there's no such thing as "no man's land" for a draft pick.
Star -14th, Short - 2nd round, Benjamin - 28th, Thompson - 25th, etc.
The problem is their drafts from about the 2012 NFCCG season on are reminiscent of the drafts at the end of Hurney's tenure, and once the veterans from those teams left, that drafting got exposed.
In many ways it's a carbon copy of the Panthers' post-2008 era, let's just hope that if they move on from Ryan they don't find their Cam, and when they move on from Dimitroff they don't find their Gettleman.

Off topic, but why in the world do the Saints keeping trotting Browne out there lol
Same reason Ginn is there. No options.

The "impose your will" offensive drive is so. much. fun.

I keep thinking "Why are we passing so much?" and then I see how open the receivers are...
-
Brandon Browner makes Colin Jones look like Deion Sanders.

For the tank, Kai. Good job.

Hmmmmm. Let's see what kind of a team we've got now...

Joke's on the Saints. They're just ruining draft position.

Don't understand not giving CAP a jersey. Rivera talked about giving him some carries while monitoring Stew's workload during his presser Wednesday. Thought for sure we'd see him get a jersey today.
Between Cam, Fozzy and Tolbert that's ample opportunity to limit him if they really want to.

23-3 and I'm not satisfied. I guess that's good. Get the ball 1st and drive for the score in the 2nd half, go Panthers!
Was just thinking this. If we aren't happy I can't imagine that locker room is either.
Really need that patented "break your will" drive with a TD to start the half.

Good point. Still an issue, though.

There you go. In one play it's a touchback + a few yards. Lol.
