We're going to have to win a shootout against Luke McCown...
-
Folks were concerned about the performance last week despite the win and were written off as negative.
Now are we allowed to have some concerns?

Mallet didn't even complete half his passes and they threw it 58 TIMES? Geez...

What did Rivera do? Wasn't able to see the game. Give me the cliff notes version.
24-10, we go prevent.
24-17, 6 minutes left, we get to field goal range. 3 minutes left, need moderate gain for a first, we go deep and stop the clock. Didn't even try to set up a shorter kick and keep the clock running or go for a moderate gain for the first.
They block the kick and get a drive to go tie it and nearly pulled it off because of our prevent/lack of discipline (look for this to be blamed in postgame. It's coming.)

I wish I could pie this 1000 times.
I wish you could so u could get my pie-post ratio up.

It is inexcusable that this game is as close as it is.
All personnel aside, the Panthers did enough to win this game comfortably and atrocious management skills that have plagued this staff for years have come back to hopefully not bite us again.

texans KNOW we aren't moving the ball
Which is why I was stunned they didn't try to pin us inside the 10.

Screen passes on 3rd and 13. My goodness.

Ugly up the game, play defense, win field position, hope the other guys make the mistakes.
That's pretty much the strategy for this entire season.

He's my age and I grew up playing against him every year during school. It wasn't even fair.
You dominated against Darren Sproles?!

NFL Coaching!

This Atlanta crowd will soon grow silent.
If Week 17 last year was any indication it will get loud, but not for the Falcons.
EDIT: Everyone else beat me to this post :(

I guess there was no injured player from the Panthers that needed an update on national TV
We have no official update yet, do we?

Bunch of whining bitches. Did you guys think no other team in the division would win a game this year or something?
Worked last year!

I'm sure it happened within the last two years, because that's when I started seeing it, but anyone know when the NFL started allowing LBs to wear numbers in the forties? It's just so f'ing ugly.
I believe that started this season.
Luke made it look good at BC!

I've never thought Bradford was good, and I've never understood all of the hype.
Never understood why he made the offseason moves he did. At least Alonso looks like a keeper.
