He didn’t say it but I will most of his tds came after they was getting slaughtered. It’s what u call garbage tds!
Bingo again! Which is when most of his picks took place. He was on a crappy team for almost his entire career. Just like Darnold.

But didn’t Brady just go there and win a SB. Looks like it’s a qb problem to me.
Don't forget they also added, Fournette, Antonio Brown, Gronkowski, and most importantly let Brady eventually run his own offense instead of Arian's "No rick it, no biscuit" approach. Just sayin'.

Td/int ratio is meaningless for this sort of comparison, since so much of TDs relates to schemes, etc.
Winston is one of the few players with a higher interception percent of passes thrown (3.4%) than Darnold (3.1%). But neither were necessarily in the best situations coaching wise. We will see.
Bingo, my friend! We will see who has the better coaching I suppose.

Lol taking up for the only guy in history to throw 30 tds and 30 ints. Keep up the good work, just come back and talk after the game Sunday
33 TD's to be precise, which was 2nd in the league. And he led the NFL in passing yards. That said, he also had Bruce Arians and his offense in place and played on a team which we can all agree on gave him little to no support. He no longer has to put up 45 passes a game to win. He won't always be playing from behind and forcing passes into questionable holes.
But, we'll see. I'll be back after the game. Like I said, been a member here for over a decade.

Yeah I hope they play him he won’t be able to get a pick lol. Then if he hits one good time he will be out anyway, but like I said play him please!
I'm sure Darnold will give other players a chance at picks. His career interception to TD ratio (39/46) is far worse than Winston's (88/126).

At like 65 percent. Against DJ Moore. Who am I to doubt the Aints though, we know they'll find a way to pull some poo
He was playing with the fresh bone chip last week against Davonte Adams and held him to 56 yards. A thumb cast doesn't hamper a CB much at all, if any. That said, at 65% he's still better than 90% of the CB's in the league.

They will probably ly scheme to take cmc out of the game too.
If they can still pressure darnold while taking away his check down with cmc we are in trouble.
We have to hope that if they focus on cmc that they will leave some plays downfeild to our wrs and that Sam has enough time to get the ball to them.
I'm a little worried about this one. I don't think darnold is ready for the saints yet.

This. The Saints have had McCaffrey's number. They get their pressure in the base four man. It's looking like Lattimore will be playing. Man coverage was tight last week and with the addition of Roby it should even be better. But, we'll see.

It said back for stretching part?
The small part open to the media. If he was able to play with the chipped bone, he'll most likely play with the chip removed. I know Payton. If he wasn't playing he wouldn't be out there at all.

Looking like Lattimore will be playing.

He had surgery on his thumb and is week to week, so I’m guessing he’s going to be out. Gotta give it a little time for the incision to heal.
The surgery was to remove a bone chip. That doesn't seem anymore invasive than having it actually chipped and he played with that. I'd put my money on Lattimore and Roby as starting CB's this Sunday. That said, they also have Desmond Trufant and rookie Paulson Adebo who played great last week against the Packers and also got his first career pick.

Yeah I’m not really worried about Roby plus he is just coming into a new system.
I'm hoping Joe Brady has the same mindset.

Is Lattimore not playing? I read he came back in with cast last week and played. I could see him playing right?
Correct. He has not been ruled out. That said, newly acquired Bradley Roby is active for the game. The Saints just traded for him from the Texans as part of their fire sale. He immediately becomes the #2 CB behind Lattimore on the roster.

Seriously though, you have to be older than our DC. Ok Gramps. Now that fruit butt thing in the other thread really was weird.
Just turned 64 a couple of weeks ago.

As a divisional rival with recent success, the Saints are easily hateable. But, in reality they aren't that different than Bengals, Browns, Bills fans. If you slogged through all that poo and are still a fan, that says a lot.
But at least we aren't the Falcons. Now that is a mess.

Not even being a little bit of a homer there? Top 20 sure top 15? possibly no chance it was the most dominating, that's blatant homerism the most dominating defenses in NFL history carried their teams to titles, 2000 Ravens, 2002 Buccaneers, 1985 Bears,1976 Steelers. . ect
Yawn!
The Saints had Sam Mills in his prime and he was arguably the fourth best LB on the starting defense. And he was great. Swilling, Johnson, Jackson, and Mills. The Dome Patrol.

If you were a Saints fan through the non-Brees years, that is legit as it comes. That is one of the worst franchises in NFL history. Plenty of banwagoners in the fanbase now but putting in that time as a Saints fan is legit AF.
The base is there and strong. I see Saints gear everywhere every day and have for as long as I can remember. The Dome Patrol years were both great and frustrating. We had the most dominating defense in league history and no offense. This type of management is what generated the brief and small "bag head" protest of 1980-81. It was not directed toward the players at all. It was directed toward management for not spending the money to legitimately compete. But that is a whole story in itself.

Since you are an old head, when did you become a Saints fan and why?
As I mentioned before, my dad was in the Air Force. In the Spring of 1967 we were transferred to Barksdale AFB in Bossier City, Louisiana. I was nine years old. I soon discovered my new state was getting an NFL team that season and I hopped on board and have never waivered. We transferred to SJAFB in my high school years. Went to NCSU for CompSci, but ended up becoming photo editor of the college newspaper and ... I returned to Louisiana in 1980 and the rest is history.
My wife and I have been on the waiting list for Saints season tickets since 2006 and finally came up this year. Bought our tickets and haven't got to use one yet.

I am familiar with that area, so I may have guessed high for you.
Realize, this was over 45 years ago. You probably weren't alive. I will admit, however, that the cream at the top was definitely at a far greater height than the mean.
However, 600 was well below my lower half.

Bingo once again!!
Winston has said the single most important thing he learned from sitting and watching Brees was that you take what is available and you play within the scheme.
