I am sure Jerry is scouring over Twitter looking at what Panther fans are trending, lol
-
Yeah, this doesn't need to be a bashing thread for he guy...def a feel good story, but now we have a better corps, don't see him making the cut
-
Will this guy make the 53 this year?
I say no, and I hope he doesn't make it. Last year he played as hard as anyone could have asked him to play last year. He was a great UDFA story, but ultimately IMO, he lost his spot between free agents and draft picks. We hopefully picked up some nice talent that will help ST and our WR core.
Nice guy for sure, but I say good luck to him at whatever he does next.

I couldn't be more happy with what we are doing in this draft! I am more excited about this draft and this season than I have ever been!

are you a woman
Nope...I would say Orange Theory classes are about 50/50 in my experience. The workout is similar to crossfit that is more cardio based and less crazy weights
-
I have been doing OrangeTheory Fitness...anyone else do this?

Panthers up next!

If you end up watching who you rooting for?
Pac...not a big TMT fan

So none of the sports bars in a ten mile radius are showing this fight....
This is also one of the times as a cable cutter that I am kicking myself in the dick because I can't buy it on PPV

Most high end restaurants sear in a pan and then cook in an oven
I made a couple NY strips on the skillet this week without the oven finish. It made a crust and a warm red center. Maybe one of my best ever.
The key, is to make sure the pan is blazing hot, like I heat my cast iron skillet on high (gas range) for 10 mins before i put the meat on. The oven finish isn't necessary.

The honest best way to make a steak though is stovetop using a cast iron skillet.

I have a Weber Genisis E-330 for gas and a Big Green Egg that I only use Rockwood Lump wood charcoal in.
I grill/smoke 3-5 times per week...typically I am 80% gas vs. 20% smoke/charcoal.
Gas is good for a quick meal like chicken, burgers, dogs. Charcoal is great for steak, pork, and fish.

So I am trying to lose weight for the summer.
For the last two weeks I have been hitting various places for lunch trying to find a good goto spot for a quick, delicious, affordable salad.
Here are some places I have been:
Whole Foods > quick, very good, expensive
McDonalds > quick, ok, not great, very cheap
Chick fila > quick, good, fair price
Anyone have suggestions on where to go?

I wonder why Jacksonville never signed him. That would make a ton of sense

I've loved every city I've lived in. It's all about what you make of it.
Dude....you getting soft, WTF!?!!
The SCP I know hates ATL (:

You do know that picture was taken at a Lowes in Charlotte right?

No way I would have give him $3 million. Good for him though
-
I have been here for 3 years and I am in early 30's...
PROS
-Atlanta is an amazing job market...much more opportunity than Charlotte. (I lived in Charlotte for 3 years as a young professional).
-Real estate is relatively cheap depending on the area you live.
-There is tons of stuff to do here. Virtually every weekend there is a festivals (420 Festival next weekend), you get all the major concerts (the Rolling Stones are coming in June), you also have tons of museums, parks, tourist attractions like the aquarium, world of Coke, etc.
-There are a ton of young professionals in all parts of the city. In Charlotte there was a lot of young professionals, but you only really found them uptown. In the Suburbs of ATL, there are tons of groups close to where you live/can afford.
-There are a lot of hot girls here....virtually all of people who graduate UGA end up here afterwords....but the girls are no doubt hot and plentiful.
-the airport is the best airport in the country...tons of direct flights, for cheap.
-Depending on the area, it's a great place to raise a family...good schools, low crime (again dependent of the area).
-MARTA is decent for public transportation...
-you get to see the Panthers live once a year....also BOA stadium is a 3 hr drive away, which isn't a big deal.
CONS
-yes the traffic does suck....if you hit it at the wrong time of day. However I have lived in many other cities (including Charlotte, and traffic sucks everywhere during rush hour).
-there are plenty of Falcon fans yes...just like there would be plenty of Colts fans in Indy, Redskins fans in DC, Bears fans in Chicago, Bucs fans in Tam...never mind. Point is it's ok to be a Panthers fan in the enemy's territory....I have met plenty of Panther fans here as well.
-Atlanta gets a bad wrap for what goes on in certain parts of the city (see College Park, Clayton county, etc). The city I live in, Johns Creek actually has the least amount of crime in the state and some of the best schools. Also virtually every place I want to shop is close by.
I am sure there are plenty of people who will chime in on this board telling you traffic sucks, this place is infested, etc....they are the people who tried to drive through the city one day to go to the airport and got stuck in traffic or a bad neighborhood. Point is, I wasn't too thrilled about moving here, but after three years, I have come to call it home and actually enjoy living here. I hope this helps.

Nice stuff, submitted, thanks RR!

So basically in the finale we see Jimmy dies in the alley with his old friend and we see the Saul persona take over. The pinky ring, the visit with Mike about keeping the money, next season he will probably start to get into some illegal stuff which should add some violence (which is what BB fans expect).
I also love Mikes character even more when he answered the question about why he didn't keep the million $. He answers "I am just doing the job I was paid to do, that's it". That's why I like Mike, even though he is a criminal, he still keeps his values.

Best
Hoodie and the blow fish
James addiction
Worst
Goo goo dolls
The Rolling Stones come to Atlanta inJune, I really want to go see that

I witnessed a best and worst performance in a single concert
RATM and WuTang circa 1997
RATM was awesome
WuTang spent most of the time yelling at an audience member who wouldn't give one of their kids the mic back after they Subjeced us to his poo rap for 10 minutEs
Hell yeah I was there in Charlotte. That was one of the most memorable experiences I have in music.
How about when Zac came out and started free styling with the Wu
Cam after 4 years
in Carolina Panthers
