Everyone can see it. Must be some kind of arrogance in our building to ignore it constantly
I get the impression our GM / owner doesn't see big holes and is OK with incremental improvements VS taking risk to fill a need for a run. Not being able to keep puck out of net OR put puck into net are pretty big holes. We sure can pass good around the net though!

Chet still making himself small in goal. Needs to trust his eqpt and cover space. Style works in lower leagues but not nhl. Announcers nailed it tonight ... solid goaltending would change a lot for Canes ... and goals are still hard to come by. We have skill but not a sniper.

Nothing wrong with a $12 bottle of Cab (maybe not $8). I have the big dollar ones but pride myself on finding the cheaper gems, especially for a mid-week bottle.. Otherwise ... brilliant post SCP. Lol

Bunch of Jerks finally got a jerk. Love it.

I said that game 1. I honestly don’t know how that dude has a job at this level. His voice is terrible as are his takes and flow of commentary.
His Dad got him in the biz.

Another clean look on a shot from top of the circle. Need chaos in front.

Pk needs to come up big. Can't give them another.

Kk plays hard but geez ...

Agreed but never have your head down in hockey or you will get laid out. It was clean if I’m calling it as a neutral observer.
Eric Lindros would agree with that. Someone still needs to find the angle with Bennett and catch him not looking ... just saying.

Clean sadly. Even my lady who does not like hockey(on TV) said it was clean. It was shoulder to body. But his head hit slavins hard and slavins head hit the board and the ice even harder.
Technically yes but he pushed the pedal when he saw Slavin's head down. Hit was intended to lay him out.

Holy cow. 2 Canes in front of net and we score.

If anybody, which Cane will drop the gloves. Tonight, I say Aho or Noesen if he is back. Aho has an edge.

Chuk took a dive.

A couple observations ....
I love Rod but for such an intense coach, have never seen a team have their nuts clipped every game. Except for the first 4 minutes of game 3, PHYSICALITY is really poor. Not saying take mindless penalties but it is part of the game and we don't have it. Maybe we will win a sportsmanship award.
Second ... with a hot goalie like Bob ... you can't play the perimeter game and not put bodies in front of the net. Need to force him to make unnatural movements to see around players and interrupt his rhythm. Not going to beat him by looking for the perfect pass or open looks from top of the circle. We are helping him look great.
I don't care who but somebody drop the gloves with Bennett or Chuk.

Bruins way more aggressive in front of the net. Could have easily been cross checking or interference but they're letting it go.

Ok ... I am likely the only one ... But time to hang up the retro jerseys. Do this stuff early or mid-season, not this late and just before playoffs. It should be all business now, especially against the Rat.

Pasternak 1v1 is a tough draw. Looked like he thought pasta was going to the backhand.
True ... But Paster lost it and it coasted between his legs. Freddie whiffed on the change-up. Been looking good since though.

Sorry but Jarvis is a boy playing with men. Know he is well-liked but weak link and not just tonight.

Patch plays with an edge. Reminds me of Williams. Hate to see this. Similar to Freddie ... Canes are a better team with him on the ice.

Could you imagine Luke as DC putting together schemes and game plans against other teams. He would have that D ready to go every week. If he wanted back in ... would be great to give him that shot.

July 5th should be a holiday too. We'll call it 'Recovery Day'. Getting on a plane tomorrow and I feel handcuffed tonight.

You studied that pic a bit too much.
Seriously, CMC hasn't been the same since sweetie entered the picture.

Heat index of 107' again. Smoking ribs. Otherwise, moving between pool an AC. May watch fireworks tonight if it drops below 90' by then.

Honestly ... was thinking Bunt would square up with Chuk ... but glad Svech showed there is more than one that can take care of business. I go back to when Svech got into it with Ovechkin. The kid has an edge that is good for this team.
