So y'all don't understand that Dan Morgan has been steadily rising the ranks of NFL front offices for over a decade now?

To be fair.  So was Fitterer.

these exact arguments for Dan Morgan.  Were the exact same thing verbatim about Scott Fitterer just a mier 12 months ago.

And Morgan grew and learned under Scott.

  2. This is a crazy stat I just ran across.

Every single NFL team has had to replace their OC the last 2 years due to promotion or firing.

As soon as you get a good one, he’s gone.  You get a bad one, they’re all gone.

Dude hasn't had much success at QB since Brady.  Great coach but even a great coach needs at least a good QB to be competitive. Falcons lack that...

He went 8-9 and 10-7 the previous 2 seasons playing in the AFC and in the same division as Miami and Buffalo.  Not the NFC South.

Imagine having to defend Bowers and Pitts at TE.

    Gronk/Hernandez 2.0

I can already see the plan with BB. He will grab a veteran QB and build his 2 TE offense.

Or imagine they go up and get that LSU QB and have him surrounded by Jonu Smith, Kyle Pitts, Drake London, and Bijan

Someone said we have a third interview, I know we have the Bucs OC and Bengals OC who is the third?

Joe Person said Slowik or Brian Johnson.

but Slowik said the other day that he is not doing any interviews until after the playoffs.  So my guess is Brian Johnson

His last QB was Mac Jones. Great coach who will get an anger bump for a couple of seasons and go back to being old and just wanting to do it hos way.

His last QB was taken by Belichick the GM.  Think He said and it appears he will not be the GM and making personnel decisions here at his next stop.

Atlanta has all the weapons and a Good OL.  Just no QB and a bad defense.  Bill can turn around a Defense.  And I’m sure they’ll target via trade,FA, or draft will target a QB.   By their GM not Bill

  7. I know there is an around the league coaching search thread.
But going to put this out here because is only so much we can gurgle ***** and moan about owner, former coach/GM, QB, OL, or anything else I left off.

But looking like Bill is going to our division rival.

Falcons (as it’s been pointed out in another thread) also have been denying assistants interview opportunities elsewhere……until yesterday.  Where it was reported they have been told they can interview for employment elsewhere.

Now looks like Bill is back for another interview with them today.

It's really going to depend on the new coach and their system.  If they want to run more power, then we're good, just keep finding better guys, and coach up the younger players we already drafted.

If they want to change things drastically like Reich did...god help us all again!

Hopefully we do get back to more of a run game.

But anyone thinking we’ll go back to what we saw Wilks do at the end is wishful thinking.

no team in the NFL drops back to throw it 15-20 times to 30+ rush attempts anymore in 12 personnel

Upgrade anywhere they can, especially on the lines. I don't care who is sitting at that spot if they can be beat out by someone else.

No idea how the OG play affected his play and not sure it matters in whatever scheme they will be running.

I would like to think injuries at OG effected him.

But I keep going back to the start of the season where he struggled mightily in the joint practices and preseasons Before Brady got hurt.

  10. It’s not even an argument the interior OL was the worst in franchise history this season.

It didn’t help that Both starting OGs were out.
But Bozeman really took a step back this year.

That being said.  Should Center be looked at in the draft?  If one of the top Centers makes it to 65

    a. Should we take them?

    b. Should Bradley be moved to Guard?

Both starting Guards had major injures to end the 2022 season.  Then again, had season ending injuries this year.

Doing some digging.  Bozeman actually spent pretty much his entire time at Guard in Baltimore.  Not transitioning to Center until his last year there, which they then went out and drafted one in rd 1.

Is he, didn’t know that as the bengals games I saw this year, Callahan had the call sheet and sending in plays

    who knows

let’s face it, not many want to work for Tepper, with a zero sum game of talent, no first rd pick and Young at qb

It’s a pipe drum to expect much more

on the other hand, all the names where ‘no names’ at one time

    Taylor is the play caller.

Taylor is also the one everyone was crediting his work with Burrow 2 years ago.

And Joe Burrow as a QB. We don’t have Joe Burrow

    And the other issue.

Their HC is the play caller.  And their HC was the one everyone was giving credit for the QB and the offense just 2 years ago.

This feels very Reichish.  An OC who never called plays.  But point to his work with a backup QB for a few games.  Callahan is essentially what Reich was leaving Philly

I'd argue coaching is making a huge difference as well.

    This

Stroud was saying some really high things on Slowik here recently.  Said he’s made things even easier than he had at Ohio State.  Their vet WR Woods said something similar in an article as well (and Woods played under McVay).

Id love Slowik here as a HC
