they paid a heavy heavy price in a draft that is flat talent wise at dline after the first few picks. I would argue they didnt get great value and Pearce will neve live up to his price.
Pearce all but disappeared down the stretch last year for the Vols.

The rumors I heard from my Riot source about Johnson regularly missing meetings and lashing out at any constructive criticism must be somewhat true.

Soft shitty team

Unacceptable red zone play. This game should be 30-10.

Hell no. Watch a replay of the ending of the game at Florida. Dude is a mental midget.
-
Elbow and knee were both in bounds, as clear as day. Blatant effin’ screwup by the zebras.
This game should be 23-10.

Fug Caleb Williams and his painted fingernails. Always thought he was a strange, arrogant dude with an Aaron Rodgers-esque attitude but without the hardware to back it up.
If only we would've backed out of the retarded trade with the Bears and had the #2 pick last year instead and taken Jaden.

We’re officially only the 5th worst team in the league!!

Meh,I read what he said. It wasn't that bad.
He may have been worse behind the scenes, but we don't know.
Heard from a source at the Riot tailgate this Sunday that Johnson would repeatedly miss meetings, loaf around in practice, and object to constructive criticism in the film room.
Take it FWIW.

You’re telling me a QB who sucked in college sucks in the pros?
Shocked.
Still would’ve been a better pick than Bryce.

Hoping poor Adam Thielen can go finish out his career somewhere in contention.

We are a clown franchise. Lose our ass on every. single. move.
It's the Tepper way.

I think I'm more inclined to tune into this one now than I was before, just to watch the ensuing poo show.

I’ve seen past coordinators here do more with less.
I don’t think any coordinator has ever had “less” than Evero does currently.

That redhead chick on the sidelines

Improvement on the offensive side of the ball. About the same on the defensive side.
The offense is slightly improved. The defense has drastically regressed.

I will admit, my resolve as a fan is being tested. But I will remain a Panthers fan as long as I follow football. Nothing will change that. My girlfriend asked me the other day, "would you ever consider switching teams?" My reply was, "what the hell is the fun in that?"
My degree of investment has changed though. Like most others have expressed, I no longer emotionally react to what's going on. QB sacked? Eye roll. Defense gives up a big play? Sigh. People poke fun at the Panthers helmet on my desk at the office? Yeah, whatever, we suck. I've started watching RedZone on my phone at the Riot watch parties. I care more about my fantasy team than the result of the Panthers game.
A big part of this apathy stems from the fact that we have nobody on the roster to grow attached to as fans. We have had a different opening week starting QB every year since Rhule kicked Cam to the curb. Our currently best players are a punter, an injured DT, and a running back whom we joke about Rhule's wife drafting. Long gone are the days of fan-favorite staples like Luke, TD, Olsen, Cam, Kalil, to name a few. Even more recently, we had guys like CMC, Luvu, and Burns who were marketable. The 2023> Panthers merely consist of a revolving door of JAG faces. Besides our two QB's, the team's most recognizable player outside of diehard fan circles is... wait for it... Ja'Daveon Clowney. Incredibly shitty drafting over a 4 year period will do that to a franchise.
I'm making the trip from ATL to Charlotte for one game at BoA this year, 11/3 against New Orleans. I am doing so mainly because my GF and I enjoy visiting Charlotte. I otherwise couldn't care less about financially supporting the current iteration of the Panthers and/or giving my money to Tepper.

I'd take Saleh in a heartbeat at DC.
That being said, I don't think Evero is the problem on that side of the ball. It's not his fault that he has to field a practice squad caliber defense that is on the field for more than half of the game.
