looks like everyone who said he was overpaid was right.
Yeah, the 2013 12-4 Panthers got several mid-level guys paid.
Now, we'll probably get one back.
So we get Ginn back, and slowly start to rebuild the 2013 WR squad.
Could Smith Sr. be in the Panthers futures?

didn't ted ginn talk poo when he left? not sure he would be resigned
Don't recall him talking poo.
-
I mean, they should just go ahead and put Ted Ginn back on the official website right?

I bear witness of this.

Not sarcasm at all. I just disagree with the general consensus around here that Deangelo is over the hill and deserved to get cut. I think he would have been fine depth this year.
The fact of the matter is we're paying over 10 million dollars in dead money between Smith and Williams not to play for us next year. I'm not capologist, but that seems like a bad deal to me. I'd rather have those 2 on the 53 than Cotchery or some 6th round rookie RB.
How is the weather in SoCal, Marty?

How much money did the team save?
almost as much as Andrew Luck wipes his butt with daily

I don't see us going over the ditch - too far.
The Landing is like JAX's version of the Epicentre. It will serve it's purpose for our weekend but wouldn't be my normal spot if I lived there.
yeah that's the vibe I got from the google
Also will be checking out the more adult establishments

1. Wait until the 4th round
2. Draft Cameron Artis-Payne
3.???
4. Profit
it's the third step that I am worried about

Brett Jensen's dumb self saying the team made mistake by not making it a June 1st cut.
Tried to tell the idiot it's not official, and even if it were it can be designated June 1st, but he has blocked me on twitter.

The 1-night is designed for Saturday night. But it can be Sunday night if you would rather that. You'll just miss out on a damn good time Saturday night.
Have you spent time in Jacksonville?
I haven't, wondering what the nightlife is like.

Could be but I doubt it. Gettleman always says how he is a film guy, and mentioned he hadn't gotten much of a chance to look into film yet.
I suppose if between his interview last week and today he looked at a lot of film it's possible.
Gettlemen did him a favor by cutting him now. We could have waited through the draft and see what fell to us but he did the up and up thing and cut him.
Thing is, the Panthers have not cut him yet.
Williams is just going out and breaking the news himself. Nothing is official.
David Newton said on twitter the Panthers have no plans to make an announcement today.

lots of short-ass dongs around these parts
Would explain several posters in the tinderbox.

Lol Panthers saying nothing is official.

Gettleman seems to have the bedside manner of bolder. Lol, dude is straight to the point.
He's Tony Soprano from Boston.

Don't want to speak for the man, but didn't RR say he didn't want to do it at this time?

If that player is a plug and play LT, yeah it is. Horrid is too strong of a word to use, but a starting caliber LT would make a world of difference to our offense. A good running mate opposite KB would as well, but a LT that didn't require help on every passing down would be the biggest difference maker on our roster right now.
If there were a plug and play type LT at 25, I have little doubt we would take him as fast we took Star and KB.

At first I was really high on this kid.
Then I got to thinking about how horrid our offense would be again.
So one player drafted at 25 is the difference between a horrid and not horrid offense?
-
I'm just waiting for the QB bubble to bust harder than the housing bubble burst. Sooner or later teams will get smart and realize they can win with guys like DA for a fraction of the cost and not have to handicap your entire team by signing one player north of 150 million, these QB contracts are just unsustainable
Go ahead and hold your breath for that QB bubble to burst.

If this guy is the next Thomas Davis, can you imagine having Keuchly and Shaq dashing from sideline to sideline for the next ten years?
I'm sure Gettleman can.
