  1. Since we have our new qb likely for the remainder of the season (unless he bottoms out like Darnold then who knows) I figured I’d post his highlights from the Lions game last year showing what he could do vs can’t. I’m certain others will point that out for me…but looking at the highlights he has a pretty good arm average accuracy and minus decision making. If we can simplify the game I think we can win the muddy games but I don’t see us winning any shootouts with him.

I get it but you know he’s free right? We didn’t give up anything here. Can’t hurt to try out then just cut later

I’ve seen more than enough Matt Barkley to know he’s terrible bro. We’re the same age so I remember him as far back as Mater Dei. I don’t need to see anymore.

They never have overly protected Sam or babied him. Just a few posters are always black/white in their responses and if you don't go all in from every direction that Sam is actually the debil and agree that everything no matter what is on Sam then "Sam is  your guy"...pretty funny though.

Exactly man just because Matt Rhule doesn’t come out and say “Darnold sucks and isn’t the answer we’re definitely getting a new qb this off-season” that means they baby him. No they’re just professional football coaches using coach-speak.

this won't be great news.  This is how they set the path for Sam's return next year.   Only instead of being the man it will be a comptetiion this time.

If you think for even 5 seconds Dave Tepper is going to let that happen again I have some ocean front property in Arizona to sell you. I know we're all mad from yesterday still and how bad Darnold sucks but imagine being the one who had to cut him a check. There's 0% chance they're going to bring him back as the starter next year and that's if he's back at all.

  5. Great move by the team. The kid was embarassed by his play alone lets try and save him some dignity for all the crap he gets you can tell he works hard and wants it he just sucks. And PJ isn't going to be a scapegoat no one believes in him anyways if he balls out we're playing with house money tbh.

Hedge Fund guys know when to hold and when to cut bait. Rhule is NOT THAT GUY. He needs a Bill Belichick Browns kind of dismissal and maybe on his next run he will be a better coach. This guy was given TOO MUCH, TOO QUICK

It's year TWO. It hasn't even been a full two seasons and we have a better or same record  of the following teams....Vikings, Seahawks, 9ers, Bears, WFT and Colts. That's multiple playoff teams from last year and multiple really good coaches. Should they also be fired?

Goodness gracious y'all get a grip! We weren't supposed to make the playoffs anyways now in spite of Darnold we still have an outside chance thanks to our defense that Coach Rhule helped build....I don't expect us to but all of y'all making these ridiculous over reaction posts act like we're supposed to be great already. I know you desperately want us to be New England but we're not. We're trying to build it and yesterday was an absolute stinker but with a competent QB I believe we win that game. Changes are needed and adjustments should be mandated but give this man some time and at least let the season play out before making lame threads like this.

It was a joke. I hope he stays healthy the rest of the season and his career, wtf dude.

There wasn’t a single lol or haha in that “joke” and I’m obviously not the only one who didn’t take it as one. If it was actually a joke you really need to work on your delivery my guy….I hope you have a great Wednesday though!

Great point. Certainly seems like the exception and not the rule. I think Miami could pull this off but Ross runs a terrible organization. I don't think anyone else could pull this strategy off and be as successful.

For sure it’s definitely not a strategy most any other team could pull off.

They have a bleak, bleak future. My goodness. No first rounder until what? 2024? And just traded another 2nd and 3rd. They better win a Super Bowl these next few years, or that franchise will be in shambles.

Nah man kinda like the Lakers they’ll always be a destination free agents want to go to they don’t need draft picks as much as franchises like ours do. As long as they hit on their later round picks and they do an outstanding job of that mixed with good trades/free agent pick ups they’re going to be more than alright. Super interesting (to me) how they build their roster.
