I honestly hate Tepper more than anyone for hiring this clown and giving him such a ridiculous contract

For sure man. I’m not even mad at Tep anymore I’ve essentially checked out this season but if peeps are gonna hate any one it should be Tep imo. Oh well though every one has a right to feel how they feel!

  2. Man I just don’t have any animosity towards him like that. He was an awful…awful coach and I’m glad we’re rid of him but I hope he does well in life and peace out. I get why peeps hate him still but I’m just not gonna let that man have any more of my emotions I have compete apathy towards him now. He’s just another dude.

Yeah but what about Rock Hill?

Yeah there’s a lot to bash Tepper on but this one isn’t it. I’m not trying to defend a billionaire but the city truly did just stop paying. Tepper could’ve financed the entire project but that wasn’t the deal so I don’t blame him one bit for pulling out.

  4. A young energetic coach with a clear well defined plan (not some vague process nonsense) and seeing said plan come to fruition whether that’s taking Will Anderson and getting a Jimmy G for a year or Stroud/Young and building around them. If the jets and browns fans can endure than so can I. I understand why some won’t ever be passionate again but at the end of the day I’m a huge Panthers fan and I WANT to support my team but I’m not gonna spend my hard earned money anymore until we have a clear direction.

It’s wild what one win will do for some of you lol. We literally had everything fall our way yesterday against Winston with a broken back, missing Michael thomas, Landry, and Taysom hill….yet we allowed them to keep it close. You won’t be able to keep many teams under the golden 17 points so we shall see. I still don’t see us winning more than 5 games total. Our offense is the worst (is not bottom 3) in the league. Same old song and dance with Rhule. Decent defense, horrible offense, 5 wins. Wash, rinse, repeat and collect that check

Lmao I can’t imagine choosing to be this miserable after our first win in 9 games but hey man do you.

They played with a lot of heart and energy today and could be seen hugging and patting Rhule on the back all game. That to me is encouraging that they haven't quit on him. I know many on here want us to lose every game, even though it is only week 3, but I want to win. I don't care who the coach is as long as we are winning. Yes, Saints played like ass, but we made big plays at big moments. I personally would rather see us continue this success, than hope for losses. That's just me.

I played D1 college football and they absolutely did. I know a lot of people are gonna be super negative but I’m gonna go on a limb and say they haven’t played organized sports beyond high school. This team (defense) rallied for Rhule. Idk if it’ll continue but for today at least our defense played with purpose.

That's pretty standard for that crowd. They always whine about negativity but they always disappear when things get rocky. Funny how most of the people they claim are overly negative are usually here for the wins and the losses.

Guess we see who the fairweather fans really are.

I’m one of the posters who get irritated with the negativity and yesterday I drowned my sorrows in beer and Wrightsville Beach shenanigans so the last thing on my mind was Carolinahuddle but I can man up and say I was wrong about believing in rhule this year. I thought with a revamped staff and what seemed to be like he’s getting it press conferences he had turned things around but he’s just the same Ol college coach Matt Rhule. I wish him and Snow great success at Nebraska/Arizona State/wherever but it’s clear that he’s not cut out for the NFL. I was wrong.

Exactly. But as I said in the NFCS thread their roster is still superior. So is their FO even with the losses. Though, I don’t think the get near the SB. And despite more echoing of Brady is old and will fall apart, I promise you he won’t. He will compete. We will look like trash agains him.

People who think Panthers have any chance are really delusional. The Falcons appear to be doing nothing substantial in areas that matter after failing to get Watson, but I suspect they planned for a suspension and we’re always tanking the right way anyways. Especially with money situation. I truly envy them. It’s what 2020 should have been for the Panthers.

Meanwhile the Panthers and their fans seem to love their 7/8 win mediocrity scratching and clawing, securing third place in the division and lose out yet again to a nice pick.

The Falcons will end up with their franchise QB by doing thngs right day 1 of a rebuild while per usual Panther fans will be screaming never surrender and tanking is for losers when playing playoff teams’ back ups and Rhule will get an unheard of 4th year and beyond because our owner is smarter then everyone else, charging full steam into the worst stretch of Panther history and solidifying this franchise as the modern Browns.

Do you even like the Panthers?

I've been critical in the past but I will damn sure take positive as well. I never root against our team and hope every season we will be great. I hope Rhule is truly a great coach and does turn it around this season. I won't bet money on him doing that but I would love to have my opinion proven wrong! I am all for Rhule's success of he can be but at same time I am for him being held accountable if we are not.

Which is an absolutely reasonable stance. I’m not saying he’s perfect and he’s made plenty of questionable decisions even from my lense but it’s crazy the amount of hate this dude gets. You can’t even be on a thread without some one saying Rhule sucks or something. Im not being a blind homer who only sees the positives but I also recognize he was a college coach coming to the nfl…I’m willing to see what he does this year before washing my hands of him.

The difference is I said so at the time, feel free to look up my post history, and was widely criticized for it. I realize this is often true, yet so many here were sure TMJ represented such a can't miss prospect that it was worth overlooking our beyond obvious need at Oline.

This isn't a "narrative". This is me making a point about a prior discussion.

    Gotcha

Yeah...not to say I told you so but...

remember last year's draft when we drafted this guy and I said we should have drafted an Olineman instead and most people here gave me poo about it?

    Yeah....

Let's all take a moment and consider the Olinemen we could have had instead with the pick....

You could likely go back and say we should have drafted x over y on almost all the players on our team. Also reports are TMJ is safe anyways so you gotta find a new narrative

  12. Just ran into a player at Sip and obviously we aren’t trying to talk football but since our sections are right beside one another I had to casually bring it up. According to him “our defense is gonna be a f’Ing animal…if we don’t make the playoffs every one is gonna be disappointed” take it for what it’s worth!

  13. Met him once when my brother was on a recruiting trip to ole miss after he was already in the nfl and he was a major turd with a pretty huge posse with even more turds. If he’s anything like he was a few years ago hard pass I doubt he’d fit into our locker room. People change obviously but we’d have to do some serious background checking.
