The HC said so pretty clearly when he made that comment about some owners being hands off then said this one is very hands on. If the HC says so why would anyone think otherwise? Not saying he is making all the calls but he wants to make the team in HIS image. Also didn't ole Tep make the suggestion for Ron to go back to the 3-4 that last year? 

I did think it was weird seeing Bryce coming to the line seemingly changing the play a lot. Seemed like Defenses fooled him on looks they showed.

They are passing way too much. They need to get the run game going then can pass. The HC said it went bad in Ind because they couldn't run the ball, I feel he is doing the same here.

They have a ref looking for illegal formation but he didn't see the T lined up way off the line and rocking

No one plays in preseason games anymore or they don't practice much on field like they did before with 2 a days so yea hammies are going to pull going from not much on field to full speed week 1. Blame the new CBA but this is the new normal for the start of the NFL seasons 

After the NFL let everyone tee off on Cams head for the whole Superbowl and next season I lost all respect and interest in the NFL as a whole.

I will watch Panthers games but the NFL lets the teams they want to win get away with way to much to take there game serious.

You can't predict injuries they happen, hope it's not to bad.

The HC said he wasn't going to run ANY of the offense or ANY of the real defense. The Panthers open the season with two DIV games so I can see where they would not want to run plays they been working on.

Even on the training camp show they said they wanted to put them in some bad positions so they could try to grow fast so idk... If they look bad in real games then worry but even then all new everything, it will take time.

Do the team cut them with a contract? Why do the players always have to do things the team don't?

The the has Billions the players Millions so I'ma side with the players, pay them or let them go to a team that will.  

As soon as they are of no use to the NFL they will be kicked to the side with no after though.

Some folks act like the money is coming out of there pockets. The Panthers will not be broke if the pay Burns top $ and in 2 seasons any deal he gets will look like a steal.

The Cap goes up every year so yeah when it's your time to get paid you will make more then the guys before you... Simple

QB, WR, CB, LT,Edge make all the $ so if you have a top player at one of those spots expect to pay top $ or we can have trash players there but look at all the $ saved

Lee played well as a undrafted rookie LT, was also talked highly of.

If you don't hear his name much it's a good thing. They went with youth a OL,  him and Nash made it over the vets..

I don't think the Lions played any of there starters so I would hope with our 1st team OFF out there they looked better. 

The Lions HC said the plan was not to play his starters in the last pre season game.

This is why I hate the pre season you don't know what the team plans unlike when there was 4 games the 3rd game would always see starters play at least a half.

Now we see why he never got Cam a good OC. Just didn't know how trash the one he had was .. lol

Still can't believe Panthers didn't take the local guy QB that had lots of hype the yr before.... Oh well

Put him in the sub LB spot and he will be at lb on passing sets. Panthers a 3-4 team he should not be at lb all times with Shaq and Luvu at ilb and he not a OLB. 

Also Madden has Mingo and this new guy as the same speed.

I have always heard practice like you play. Every time I have seem practice they all moving in slow motion the whole way thur I know you have to install but even there OFF vs DEF that I have seen be 1/2 speed a lot.

Hope he improves over the next few weeks, but it was really really bad giving up 2 big hits on Young on back to back plays to Thibodeaux.

One he just didn't block him at all and passed him off to no one, the very next play he didn't even stick his arms out at all to block him and he just ran around him ending the drive.
