Want Steichen. Prefer Reich or Moore to Wilks. Please don't hire Wilks.

If they end up taking this much time to just hire Wilks smh. That’s like wanting a killer steak but settling for a Cookout burger tray.
God I miss Cookout

Preach. All in on Steichen.

Really hoping for Steichen.

Wilks is not getting this job. The writing is on the wall. Confused people are not getting that. We are on candidate #10 of requests.

Someone has to explain to me why Ryans will have more success than Saleh has up to this point.
I think Saleh has done a formidable job. No one is winning with that QB play. That's more on Douglas picking Wilson imo.

They know Wilks got screwed in Arizona and want to see him get an actual legit shot because he's a good guy.
Want a great coach, not a good guy.

From Greg (@panther1gb89): Gut feeling today...who does Tepper hire in Carolina?
So I think this is Tepper fighting his best-laid plans against a feeling that Wilks is probably the right guy to hire.
This sentiment is all over the web. It's so annoying. It's a pity party I feel like. It's simply not true if we want a Lombardi. He looked better than Rhule and was 6-6. Great job for us this year. But it's not someone we need long term as HC with the way this league is trending.

More of hopes than a prediction, but Ben Johnson & C.J. Stroud.
I think Houston will trade up to the first pick to block Indianapolis from choosing their favored quarterback. From there Chicago will trade out again, hopefully to the Panthers. I believe Young will most likely go first overall, leaving Stroud to whomever makes the trade.
Would be totally happy with this.

Would love Darnell Washington at pick #40 if he was there.

CMC>Jacobs but he did have great numbers...

Happy with Johnson, Steichen, or Kafka.

And I am here for it. Love it.

Just watched it. I don't think they hire Wilks as HC. I think them saying they know what they want is an offensive mind.

After watching Fitterer's press conference, my gut tells me Wilks will be the HC to a three year deal, who will subsequently let Mcadoo go. Campen and Holcomb will be retained. For the draft, I see us moving up to take either Young or Stroud (probably Stroud) and with the next pick available, we will take the best available tight end or edge rusher.
Haven't watched yet, what gave this vibe?

HC- DeMeco Ryans
QB- Tanner McKee (2nd round)
#9- Jalen Carter DT (Georgia)
I'm not usually the guy to say "x won't be there", cause you never know....but Jalen Carter is not falling to 9 lol.

I'm all in on moving up for Young or Stroud. It's time.

"We know already that Wilks would work out. The players respect him and generally want him to return. He grew up in Charlotte and is deeply rooted in the Queen City. He needs to find a new offensive coordinator and, even more importantly, a quarterback (along with a tight end, safety, nickel corner and wide receiver)."
Honestly, who cares where he is from? He was a very solid interim, but he went 6-6 and didn't beat a team with a winning record. We do not know he would work out. Go out and get a offensive minded coach and draft a QB. Enough mediocrity (if we are calling it that).

This is the year we move up for a QB.
Johnson or Steichen for HC.

I'd love to know what Tepper didn't like over a zoom call for a guy preparing for the NFCCG with a top 3 MVP frontrunner in his room.
