1. Sewell
2. Pitts
3. Trade Down

^What's his real name? Assuming David Newsome messed up the tweet.

Thanks for posting Scot, really cool insight.

It bothers me when people reference Robby and not DJ Moore. I get the NYJ connection, but DJ Moore is a #1 WR in this league.

Sewell at 8 would be euphoric. Would feel like when Star dropped to us.

Mayfield was in the Darnold category before competent coaching and better protection
Mayfield broke the record for most TD passes thrown by a rookie. He had a down 2019 with Kitchens, but this narrative doesn't fit.

I think Teddy will beat out Sam for the starting job. Teddy was better than Sam with the Jets, but Sam was the “shiny new toy” and deemed to be “ready enough”.
ok bigteddy fan

Happy with this as a flyer. Was a BEAST in 2017.

if we lost out on watson, fields, all the good ones...
i wouldn't HATE a conditional mid rounder for darnold + drafting a second round QB to develop, let them duke it out while we continue to stack the team with linemen.
i don't really know what the alternative looks like at this point.
I am personally against a 2nd round QB.

I would be far more excited going into week one with Darnold than Teddy. See what he is outside of Gase. If he sucks, we are looking for a QB anyway.

I don't want Slater. He is a guard. Sewell #1. Pitta #2. Calling Pitts a TE is just not giving him enough credit.
-
I'd give up what Niners did to move from 8 to 2. Otherwise, trade down or take Sewell/Pitts/Parsons. Another year of Teddy makes me so numb, though.

Definitely getting 2009 and post SB50 vibes when poo was gonna hit the fan.
At this point lets just draft Slater and be done with it.
If it's not Sewell, I don't want an OL at #8. Have heard Slater is more of a fit at guard.

makes you think should we just forget about upgrading QB this year and focus on strengthening other areas bc we really aren’t in much position to get what we want anyway
sadly, yes. god teddy is the worst

Rookies sitting has become less and less of a thing.

Still perplexed we let Kerr go.

Do we think Ian Thomas even makes the team this year?

This whole thing is wild....

who?
Been a solid player for the Chargers since 2015 outta the 2nd round. "Who?" is a weak take.

Yes I like this. Good in the run game.

Like 90% at this point. If someone came out of nowhere and offered something ridiculous that we couldn't match (IE young franchise QB) I am not sure how we would top that. I think he is coming to Carolina.
Love it! Appreciate your insight so much. Have you heard anything on timeline?
-
I still want him. Gonna have to give up some picks to move up for a qb according to schefter. Why not add a few more and get an elite qb. Thanks Washington!

You do know the whole thing about not typing his name so he doesn't get traction online....right?
