Dak going to be Dak in the playoffs. Same goes for Josh Allen & Lamar Jackson. They need to prove they are playoff clutch. Dak has a chance he can go Tom Brady or Joe Montana in the playoffs.

Tight End talent has been great the past 2 years in the draft. The Panthers just ignored it.
Ferguson & Mayer would be Panthers if I had my way with the roster. Just have to watch the players I wanted wearing a Panthers helmet looking good in the playoffs.

The state of the NFL QB is at an all time low since the SB era started. Even with all the rule changes that allow them more success than they would have had 15 to 20 years ago.

Defense & clutch GWD QBs win championships. Not offensive track stars & offensive mad scientists.

Stroud wouldn’t have looked like the ROY on this poo sandwich of a team this year
Not too sure about that. Stroud was a better fit for a Reich offense. Forcing Reich to make an offense on the fly for Young was the biggest issue on offense. Levis would have been a better fit for Reich's offense. Would have been more productive with Dalton, Foles, Wentz, or Flacco. Young had difficulty seeing the open receivers.

I was very impressed by Slowik. Yes, Stroud played well but his guys were consistently open and most times wide open. Collins has developed but he, Schultz, Jordan and others aren’t Justin Jefferson level. The Texans scheme looks good. Guys like Singletary, Brown, Collins, Dell as a rookie, Jordan and Schultz all took a nice step forward. Stroud had an impact but again it was impressive that guys were so open.
An interesting move would be to hand the team to the Slowik & Kubiak Brothers.
Steve Slowik as GM. Klein Kubiak as asst GM. Bobby Slowik HC. Ryan Slowik DC. Bob Slowik LB/Asst HC. Klint Kubiak OC. Klay Kubiak QB coach. Gary Kubiak as a senior advisor.
Texans, 49ers, Dolphins & Cowboys. Unite them with their SB winning Dads & watch the wins role in.

This is painful. We very clearly picked the wrong guy. Our QB may not even be a starter in 2-3 years.
Firing the people who wanted Stroud & keeping the ones who got it wrong on Young seems to be counterproductive to success.

So, Reich was among those in the Panthers building that was right on the QB evaluation & he got fired for being right?

Cruel world when Teddy Bridgewater, Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield, & PJ Walker are all in the 2023 playoffs while the Panthers hit the eject button on them early for an F grade #1 pick QB who they will refuse to bail on early.

Here comes the Saban-Belichick-O'Brien-Young reunion. Saban will be co-GM with Belichick sitting next to Tepper while Belichick gets his record before retiring to the owners box. Belichick & Saban getting part ownership of the team.
Expected & not wanted

Evero didn't take the interim HC position. Why would he take the HC position? He agreed to come in with Reich. Both Evero & Brown were just finishing out their contracts before leaving for better ownership was my understanding.

2023 was without a doubt the worst. 2001 & 2010 were expected to be bad seasons before the opening day game. 2023 was suppose to be an immediate all-in improvement on a 7 win roster to win a weak division.
The QB move (most expensive in NFL history) destroyed the team & now that QB is being forced on a legit rebuild. The opening day offensive roster from 2022 less Anderson, add Thielen/Chark, trade Burns & the 2023 offensive coaching staff would have won the division. May have even won the division with Dalton after choosing to lose CMC & DJ Moore. The Panthers should have added Jalen Carter to strengthen their defense. Then they have 2 first round picks in 2024 & 2025 after likely winning a weak division.
That's how I see it.

What round does Kris Jenkins Jr go to the Panthers?

Bye Burns
The return on your 5 years is a huge loss for the franchise. You never became a championship leader or a playmaker.
-
Now, let's hope they follow a proven championship team building formula instead of a new experimental long shot strategy.

My theory is Tepper trades for Belichick as coach GM. Belichick get his winning record on the sideline & retires to the box with Tepper. Belichick receives part ownership in the Panthers & stays GM. Bill O'Brien works with his QB for a few years as OC/Asst HC until he takes HC position. Agreement set up to give Nick Saban partial ownership & join Belichick as Co-GMs when Saban wraps up his time at Alabama.
Not saying I want that. I expect it.

The real question is which is the worst season
2001, 2010, or 2023?
2001 & 2010 gave the Panthers a core of good young players & all pro vets to build around. Just needed to replace the QB, add 1 clutch offensive weapon & 1 defensive clutch playmaker. They had top draft picks.
2023 needs to replace QB, add a clutch offensive weapon & add a clutch defensive playmaker. They have no all pro carry over talent. They have the defensive foundation to carry over. They only have Thielen as offensive carry over. There is no top 1st round pick.
2023 is definitely the worst & most hopeless season in Panthers history. Bryce Young is at Weinke & Clausen levels of NFL play. He needs to be replaced & at the very least challenged.

I never thought I'd see a panthers offense that made teddy b look like a gun slinger but here we are
You could give me Teddy B, DeShaun Foster, Biakabatuka, Teddy Ginn, Rocket Ismail, Keary Colbert, Kris Mangum & Gary Barnidge at skill positions with Byron Bell at LT... that would be more enjoyable, hopeful & competitive than this team.
I could field a better offensive roster from players not in the NFL right now. I don't understand how a team can get a roster so terribly wrong.

The best offensive game going into 4Q without stacking up numbers in garbage time by the Panthers was against Seattle.
Let that sink in on who should have been playing at QB this year.

-
Young, TMJ, Mingo & Tremble are the Panthers passing game for the foreseeable future
With Ekwonu anchoring the pass blocking
-
Young with the wind up to pass 10 yards out

In 4Q garbage time against soft clock wasting defense while trailing by multiple scores after looking horrible for more than 3 quarters.
