I've seen Freeling, Mauigoa, Miller, & Fano projected before 19 in almost every mock. I watched Will Campbell get absolutely abused all season as the #4 overall pick. Offensive Tackle is a position where the best Tackle in the draft is not much further ahead than the 20th Tackle in the draft. Coaching and scheme can account for a lot at that position. The same is not true for skill positions like WR, RB and TE. The best player at those positions is infinitely better than the 20th player at those positions (in most cases). Draft accordingly.

I agree. But in a world where "what have you done for me lately" is a real thing, front offices and coaching staffs can't spend first round picks on projects. This division is incredibly weak, go get guys who can help you win it now. Kenyon Sadiq is the pick.

The most Panthers draft thing ever would be selecting (wasting) a pick on an OL who they plan to sit for a year. If you draft a guy in the first round, he better impact the team immediately.

I'm not sure of our OL coach, or his pedigree, but I agree with this. I'm a huge believer in finding guys who are "good enough" in the "non skill" positions and then coaching them up. Yes we pay these players millions, but we also pay our coaches millions. We've band-aided the LT position it appears. Now up to Dave Canales and his coaches to design an offense that can succeed. That's why we hired him - he was an "offensive genius". Alot of this rides on Bryce, but after watching what Sam Darnold and Daniel Jones did with the right system, it's time for Canales to put up or get out. Especially in this division, which is by far the weakest in the NFL.

Agreed. Also agreed. There are two huge mountains of black on one side and white on the other in the legal system. Then there is the even bigger ravine of grey river between them. Way easier to pontoon boat through the grey than scale the black or white.

I know you catching a bit of flak for this, but just know, I agree. She terrible as fug. And also, this dude won't do a second of jail time. The system / money will make sure he pleads it down or pays it off - especially to a WNBA player who makes half the salary of a UPS driver. What he did was awful, but nothing is going to come of this, other than his name being smeared.

Don't get caught up in the undefeated "story" with Miami OH. If they played Auburn or Indiana's schedule, they would be 14-18 right now. If they played Auburn or Indiana on a neutral site, they'd be double digit dogs. I'm praying Carolina is a 6 and gets Miami OH as an 11. Cake walk to R32.

Yea after the early games where I liked all the favorites, not alot I see this afternoon that I'm sure about or like. Will maybe do some 2nd half bets if I can get away from computer for work to watch games and see trends. I do think Clemson beats Carolina pretty easily tonight. Clemson would've won in Chapel Hill if Bogavac didn't have an out of body experience and turn into JJ Reddick the final 3 minutes of that game.
