Charles Lee sucks but the talent is good, Belichick sucks and who knows where that goes, and Canales sucks and so does the talent on the Panthers. Go to the Hurricanes forum, I've never said a bad thing about that team because while they've fallen short the last several years, they aren't a bunch of dipshits doing dipshit things in games / during the season. But y'all keep pounding your chests that OUR teams have arrived. Can't even imagine the level of disappointment that comes with that.

The Hornets have a few good wins. So did the Panthers. To say the Hornets have been dominant is nonsense. Our 9 game win streak is matched by Toronto, who sucks, San Antonio, who's done it twice to prove consistency, and behind Detroit (13) and OKC (16) who lead their conferences. One lucky streak doesn't equate to dominance, and dominance doesn't get you 9th in the conference.

Yea? Started slow, won a few games in a row, folded late in the season to back into the playoffs, and will be one and done in the playoffs. Did I miss something?

You're also underestimating Calipari in those scenarios. Calipari can say to a kid "I've put more impactful players into the NBA than any school over the last 20 years". Michael Malone can tout that he was run out of the NBA for not understanding impactful players. I wouldn't count any chickens yet on top recruiting classes and deep tournament runs. On a side note, can't remember where, but saw some interview where the guy was saying the NBA All Star Game should be the USA vs World vs Kentucky - and then proceeded to list the players in the league from Kentucky who would legit give an All Star team a run for their money. Pretty impressive what Cal did at Kentucky, not impressive on him not getting more nattys.

Can appreciate the stat, and that's a good record in the NBA. But the lack of consistency is still atrocious. Beat fully loaded OKC, then lose to Indiana and Toronto at home. 9 game win streak, and then get literally beaten up by Detroit at home and drop 3 of 4 home games. Beat Boston, then lose to Miami and Phoenix Beat New York, then blow huge lead to Philly, don't even look competitive vs Boston, both at home Win four in a row, then look like a WNBA team in the second half vs Boston last night. They're on the way up. But there is still a long way to go.

Partly true. Legs get heavy and lungs stop working when you realize you're completely outclassed. This team is probably one full season of being healthy, learning how to win, and then ready to compete with a few more complimentary pieces and a true big.
