There are internet rumors floating around that Matt Corral will be playing Kang the Conqueror in the next Avengers movie.

It will be an easy transition for him, since he transcends both time and space.

bah hahahahaha solid effing point. I would take Huddle whining any day over toxic twitter bots. Maybe Reddit is the echo chamber I need instead (the Panthers subreddit is actually decent most of the time) 

But the negativity in this place..... it's just too much sometimes. If we start having a losing season the Huddle is one of the first places I stop visiting. Why add to the symphony of negativity in my social media feed? I love me some football but I can emotionally detach from this crap pretty quickly when things go South (that's what being an Ole Miss/NC State fan will do to ya mentally). 

but sweet baby Jesus it's just the 2nd day of training camp and our own fans are just foaming at the mouths over nothing.

Screw it I'm rooting for Rhule at this point just to see how much crow we can all eat in one setting. Might end up being a new world record. 

Thank the Maker. Late July / Early August is the absolute worst time of my life at work every year. Training camp, and the hopes and dreams that it carries with it, is one of the few things that gets me through these next few weeks.

Let's put this thing together this year and come out with zero significant injuries and minimal drama.

awwww man. I love the dude to death and he played his butt off for Ole Miss, but I wish that he would have phrased this better. And I get what he's saying about quarterback competition in the locker room...but come on my dude, you played in the SEC West. THERE is your competition.

Rhule is following the "exit strategy" for divorce:

absolutely he is. Especially behind a revamped O line, and with a (hopefully) heathy CMC. Baker is coming in with a tremendous chip on his shoulder too, on a contract year.

Compare that to Mariota and Jamis and yeah, we are definitely sitting in 2nd place. 

I'm sorry fellas after the last two years I have no desire to sit through and watch us tank for the "next great qb." I applaud the Baker move and I'm one of the biggest Corral homers around. Let him sit for a year, learn McAdoo's playbook and just digest it all. Rushing Matt out does nothing to help him out. Yes he's got first round talent and first round leadership. Let the dude learn for a bit and get his feet wet before we throw him into the fire.

And if Baker balls out and we make the playoffs (NFC is pretty weak this year overall) then we just got an Oceans Eleven style heist by getting him. 

Baker is about to put up 60 on the Browns in Week 1. It's going to be as nasty as Steve Smith's revenge game against us was. 

my biggest beefs with this game (so far):

• they've done this game for 25+ years and the commentary still doesn't make sense half the time
• might be the worst soundtrack the game has ever had
• EA servers will randomly disconnect you during the middle of a challenge, wiping out your progress and making you do it all over again
• tired of seeing Tom Brady's poo ass everywhere
• Matt Rhule is somehow uglier in the game than he is in real life. They might have well put him in a sleeveless wife beater shirt and had him double fisting Pabst Blue Ribbon

bottom line: If you're old enough to still compare Madden to Sega's NFL 2K series....

Edgy Madden comments are about as cool as a stranger's internet hot takes on Star Wars. 

I was really surprised to see the rookies making their debuts in last year's game!!! 

Corral has been a pretty rare card so far but I was able to snag and cost a solid 85,000 gold in auctions.
