Then i guess you wouldn't have took Josh Allen either. I get you think prospects are supposed to have fully defined college careers....but unfortunately it doesnt always work like that.

Josh Allen played more then 1 year in college.. And was the 3rd QB taken in the class..
So no i wouldn’t have taken him number 1 and neither did the Bills..

In a scenario where draft position wasnt a factor and i had to just choose between AR and Bryce. Im taking AR.

If AR didn’t have horrible college tape didn’t take 3 years to earn a starting spot and actually achieved something playing football at any level I would take him..

Inflated by frontrunning or scheme. Abnormal amounts of attempts to achieve fools gold.

Bs excuse.. You said stats were equal.. They are not.. Then comes the caveat to your statement.. Which is complete BS.. Even last season was better then anything Corral did.. And that was a down year for him with less weaponary surrounding him… smh

He is trying to read off stats and cherry pick the ones that makes Corral better. Oh and he wants AR who has the worst stats. He is contradicting himself as usual.

I’m clueless at this point.. This stuff is getting embarrassing to watch… Even if you cherry pick and destroy your AR argument in another thread.. The numbers are still not close..

He doesn't even have better stats than Matt Corral from college.

Matt Corral was in the SEC on a rag tag squad yet YOUNGSTER still doesn't have better statistics? And he's the smallest and slimmest EVER?

LOOK at Corrals stats. Why do you need an smaller product with less upside just because the media said so(Zach Wilson)? Corral has a better completion percentage, better yards per completion better combined QB rating the last two seasons.

Get someone like AR to challenge a running QB like Corral. Much better compliment. The playbook would remain the same aside from 80yrd throws.

Enough with this Young stuff. Finished. Not even better than Matt Corral. THAT'S why.

Observe. Last two college seasons of play.

I don't read too much of the Observer either because of the paywall but I will say Mike Kaye has been a really good twitter follow lately. I think the video he posted the other day about the Bryce Young chatter was really informative and transparent, so I appreciated that.

Well this isn't fully true at all. I've seen a clip of her talking about the Wilks situation and she didn't accuse Tepper of being racist, in fact she said that she didn't believe he was and praised the diverse panthers leadership group. She did however point out the difficulties there can be for black HC's. She's been super complimentary of the Panther's staff.

Yes Kaye has been better then the Elliot guy at the observer.. And ppl be making up poo..

Sheena was actually 1 of the ppl trying to explain that Tepper has been saying he wanted a offensive minded HC and why Wilkes didn’t get the job on other platforms… She also been glorifying the staff that Reich has built..

I really like Sheena and I appreciate the work she and Vashti from Carolina Blitz do giving like twitter fans a forum to express themselves with the spaces and what not. I haven’t kept a record of what she’s gotten right and wrong but I know she was on it with the Watson stuff.

I think the reporting around the team in general is a good spot right now honestly.

Love her Vashti and Person.. I don’t see a lot from the Observer guys lately without getting past the pay wall.. But the Female reporters are trying to be more interactive with the fan base on twitter and going on other YouTube platforms .. So I give them alot of props..

I wouldn't want to get multiple late rounders but the type of move that would seem worth it is with a team like DET or GB who have mid-3rds to package with a slight trade down in R2.  There's a nice tier in R2 that's fringe 1st rounder grades (at least for me) that drops right around 50.  So if we feel we get a guy with the same value in a trade down, do it, but not for stuff like late 4ths and beyond.

Getting an extra pick before 93 without dropping too for would be my ultimate objective if I'm Fit.  Maintain a mid-2nd or above, gain a 3rd.

Puts us more in range for some guys that could really help us on both sides of the ball.

Felix EDGE, Benton IDL, Scott WR, Mingo WR, Charbonnet RB, LaPorta  TE, Henley LB, Dorian Williams LB, Spears RB, etc.

    yes this^^
Depending on the draft (like this 1) you have the value in different spots in the draft.. Like after the top 15 to 20 you have similar rated prospects from the 2nd round to the 4th…

Not sure if this has been posted. Interesting comments from Sheena Quick regarding the decision about QB and she seems to indicate that the Panthers would consider a trade down if pick #12 is involved. Starting about 11:37

Good post just heard it and Sheena says her connection is a big decision maker in that room.. I find that interesting..

Murray has had success?  And hurts is small?  WTF?

Jesus Christ do you not get tried of being loud and wrong???

    https://www.nfl.com/players/kyler-murray/stats/career

and just for reference we haven’t had a QB put his numbers up in 5 years!! And he

Got Arizona to the playoffs last year!!!

    https://www.nfl.com/players/jalen-hurts/

And yes 6’1 220 is considered small for NFL QB I’m sorry you didn’t know that..

    1. He will have trouble extending plays in the pocket like you saw, outside the pocket it will be downright dangerous. The NFL is faster "scrambling" is less effective, throwing it away, or if you're Levis or Richardson get vertical yards, make them pay, because like I said passing lanes are covered and run is stuffed. Usually as a defense if you're covering and stopping the run you win. Against Bryce, probably, AR and Levis ripping off ten fifteen yards at a time makes a huge difference. I've watched Cam.

    2. He's small for the position. Not my fault.

    3. Playoff time there will be more of those, more situations where your QB will need to run the sneak or if you're AR, Levis QB power. It's an ADVANTAGE why am I choosing a guy with obvious disadvantages in the NFL, it's not college.

    1. You say this but players with less athletic skills are still doing this.. Brady still able to scramble, Rodgers still able to scramble, Mahomes with a ankle sprain is still able to scramble.. Bigger faster defender and less athletic QB then Young are still able to scramble.. So this opinion just isn’t true..

    2. He definitely is.. But the league has changed in that respect.. QB are way more protected.. Big statues type QB aren’t as wanted.. Smaller QB are having success..

    3. We just saw the playoffs and Mahomes, Burrows, and Purdy advanced and still made plays and still won over the Allen’s, Daniel Jones, Lawrence’s, and Herbert’s more athletic QBs..

  12. 38 minutes ago, rippadonn said:

Coverage sacks are going to hurt Young in the NFL. He doesn't have another dimension to go to when everyone is covered or hands are up passing lanes covered and a DE bearing down. Levis can flat out run like a FB at 6'3"230lbs+ so he can get positive yards out of that situation and more than likely with his running style break a couple tackles and so can AR.

When they've taken away your receivers and along with that tough defense's who can also control the run and have a good secondary face Bryce, what's he got?! Stroud had to prove he had the heart and physicalness to run among the sharks and deliver before a lot of people gave him credit, even me. THAT gets harder.

    Let’s break this down..

    1. We’re not talking about a statue.. Young can move has quickness and agility and navigates a pocket with the best of them.. He isn’t going to be the designed run guy but scrambling and pocket movement is his thing.. Making plays offscript is his thing…

    2. When is being a high level passer mentally going to get credit?? Why is being a super athlete getting more attention then guys who win from the pocket and can diagnose defenses.. Because reality is those are the guys who are winning more consistently and have a longer productive life in the league.. The super athletes aren’t winning consistently they aren’t lasting longer nor are they taking teams to superbowl championships often..

    3. All QB deal with coverage sacks.. Just because you’re super athlete doesn’t mean you negate coverage sacks from happening.. Honestly the pocket passer beat diagnoses helps then beat coverages more then being able to run ..
