This is a bad pick no way around it.
Just reading the scouting report is says he is a project. The problem I have is he is already 25 years old.
By the time he's coached up he will be approaching 30. This is just a bad trade up. Washington was there for the taking.smh
You shouldn’t draft 25 year old projects..

Sorry not a fan of this pick or trading up for it..
And seriously has Carolina ever drafted a player from Clemson?? Do our scouts not go to Anderson SC??

This is the overlooked aspect. Teams left a lot of solid EDGE FAs available with how deep this draft is.
Don't need to force anything but if we wanna use a future 5th/6th to move up a tad, that ain't no thang but a chicken wing.
2 with attachments to the coaching staff.. Floyd and Yannick..

No disrespect to our WR room but none of them have the potential or have shown to be a #1. Thielen was, but he’s past his prime. This kid can potentially turn into a true 1. I like it
I disagree.. I think TMJ could develop into a number 1..

Can't guarantee Chark will play 17 games. Young needs weapons.
I said if injuries happen.. But injury protection isn’t a 2nd round need imo!!

With what.. Just sign a vet edge..
Don’t lose anymore assets..

I think Fitterer looks to freeagency and signs someone to play across from Brian Burns
Yep hopefully they have a deal ready for Yannick or Floyd

I’m a little iffy on this.. Didn’t see it as a 2nd round need.. Unless injuries happen don’t see him on the field..

Coach Prime time knows..

Like Pass rusher in the 2nd with a trade down (adding more picks) and DB in the 3rd ..

Humble with quiet confidence ..
I promise you don’t have to worry about him playing fortnight instead of being in his playbook..

Yeah, not really.
People have been speculating that our next pick could be on defense for hours.
Literally their biggest signing in FA was 3 wrs a RB TE and 2 Olinemen.. It’s really not that hard to see defense might be a big focus in the draft after FA mostly used on offense..

Thank goodness they got number 1 then because AR before Stroud is stupidity..

I think they are going Defense today.. I think they feel they did a lot of work in FA on offense.. Maybe Oline is a spot but I see defense being a focus today..

He’s not physical and doesn’t do well when having to contest for a catch, and while his speed is his greatest asset, he also takes some time to accelerate and get up to that speed.
And most of all, to me at least - So, so many of his big plays are where he’s WIDE open and not a defender within 5 yards, not because he’s some ridiculous route runner but because he gets essentially free releases so often because of the scheme they run in Tennessee. I think he’ll have a really hard time against physical corners. He just makes me think of guys like Mecole Hardman and Ted Ginn - he’s a threat to take the top off, but that’s really it
This is a perfect breakdown and the reason Tenn skill players are dropping..

It also makes no sense? Such a terrible take.... Keeps making new accounts to call fans of Stroud racist??

I am scared--we seem to be in agreement this year. Either you got dumber or I did.
Good one .. But I have noticed this off-season we’ve seen eye to eye more often…
Now I’m checking for pink eye..lol

Well, yeah, but at least this year, if Desmond Ridder is half as competent and the Falcons coaching staff is half as competent to use Kyle Pitts, I can see the NFC South being a dogfight.
That’s alot of IF’s for a team drafting a RB that high…
