I do love the debate here though, with stroud/young I was always going to be fine with either of them and I didn't really care one way or the other(I originally wanted CJ when we made the trade but flipped too bryce during the scouting process). This is totally different, feel like we will have let a truly great player slip by us if we draft Miller over scoot.

Why because he can dunk?? And ppl hyped him up?? Watch the film on both please before forming this opinion…

Yeah im watching his film and im seeing not many jumpshots.

His game is basically attacking the rim and floaters. That would be great 10 years ago, but this league is about shooting. He can't shoot at all. Then you pair him with another non shooter in Melo. That just has disaster written all over it.

Imagine trying to spread the court with Melo/Scoot/Williams in the starting lineup. It's impossible. Just draft Brandon Miller don't F this up.

    Wait ..

When did Melo become a non shooter??

He is a career 37.1% 3 point shooter..

It’s not me saying, it’s literally every scout on God’s green earth saying Henderson’s shot is a weakness. If he shot 35% from three then he’d be the pick no questions asked.

    25% percent from 3

And again he is more of a pg then a SG ..

    This is basketball

    Size does matter..

    It's really simple imo.

We already have a star pg we don't need another who also can't shoot.

This league is about shooting. Miller is the best shooter and he can also create his own offense. You can do more with his size and shooting ability then you can with Scoot who is only a rim attacker.

I’m seriously don’t understand the debate..

6’9 long length 2 way wing that can create and is a knock down shooter is a perfect fit for this team…

  5. Anybody screaming about a 6’2 pg/sg who can’t shoot is funny.. And don’t know today’s basketball.. If you wanted a Westbrook clone we could have just gotten Westbrook…

If you want to help Lamelo get him this on the wing

  6. It’s not even close..

6’9 players who can create and shoot are hard to find and a great fit when you have a 6’8 all star pg already..

This type of scorers with this type of length at this age is a franchise changer..

Bro he's averaging 16 points a game. Where is this hype coming from?

Yall fall in love with flashy dunkers. This game is about making shots. Can you shoot or not?

Scoot needs the ball and Melo does as well. Do the right thing and take Miller he actually fits with Melo and he can shoot.

5-6 UDFAs might push for a roster spot---Leota named.  This is what we were saying earlier, when some of you were rude and insulting us for praising the UDFAs.  Ha ha.  We were right, you were wrong.  Ha ha.

Yep.. We did have 4 or 5 on the list that can compete for a spot..

    Leota

    Redman

    Rejohnze

    Bumper and People’s..

He'll be small enough that's for sure.

The smaller guys tend to get the calls more often because the hits look more violent against them.

It's why Cam and Big Ben rarely got roughing called for them.

It’s almost like hack a Shaq in the NBA teams got to beat on Shaq way more then they do James Harden who get breath on and draws a foul..

    Cool interview. Some notes

    - Gives a little more detail on the visit with Mingo. Him and Morgan were just overall really impressed with how he generally carried himself and the presence he maintained in the conversation. Apparently Mingo likes to fish and ride horses. Maybe Luke and him can go fishing sometime, lol.

    - Liked DJ Johnsons motor off the edge

    - Likes the receiver room right now and sounds really impressed with Marshall in OTAs, said something about coaches coming in to him and being surprised at how good Marshall was (presumably OTAs is the first time any of the new staff has gotten on the field with them). Also mentions Shenault as "really coming on".

    - When the fact we didn't draft a TE's brought up, he brought up Tremble and how young he is, and how young he was coming out. Sounds like we might be planning to keep developing Tremble behind Hurst.

-Likes the UDFA class as a whole and thinks 5-6 might push for a roster spot. Talked a little bit about Eku Leota specifically

    Thanks I hate doing summaries..

Why do we keep hearing about how close Nicole Tepper is to certain players. It was tough on Nicole trading DJ Moore? It’s fugging weird.

Why?? This team has always been sold as a family environment.. From the owners to the fans.. Since Jerry this has always been marketed as a big family.. So a owner or his wife having their favorite players isn’t new… Jerry had dinner on Sunday’s with Smitty and Pep..
