Also, the 2023 class is way better, that’s where the talent is

calling it now, by the end of the season Matt Corral from Ole Miss is gonna be the hot name of the 2022 draft.
My qb1. Sad he has no buzz just bc he was a true leader and played in a bowl game

Verone McKinley III. Led CFB in ints. Free safety.

Rhule’s ego was much too fragile to hire someone whose a better nfl coach than him. Good for the Steelers. They’re gonna get 2 3rds for him next year too. Total bs

Yep, normally by this time I have the top 5 or 6 prospects in most key positional groups already studied and a mini-big board formulated. This year I just can't get into it. With Rhule here next year and lacking ANY day 2 picks, I just have about zero enthusiasm for this draft season. It sucks too, because normally this is my FAVORITE time of year.
I’m in the same boat. It really sucks. The silver lining for poo teams is supposed to be draft hype but we have 1 pick worth a damn. Can’t believe it

I love how they move the combine and draft back every year. So dumb

Lololol. No thanks to a dude willing to defend his teammates? Yeah, what a red flag! He should’ve just said “welp he’s on his own Ima walk away like a pussy.” Reminds me of when cam ran over to defend Smitty after that late hit vs saints. Exactly what I want in a qb

Intriguing for sure but his size and RPO offense background will be tough to overcome for pick 6.
Lol his size. Didn’t realize that mattered for qbs. Is this the 80s? RPO is fair, sure, questions around how he’ll translate to an nfl offense. Just like fields last year. Just like a ton of college qbs. RPO offenses are quite common in college

Dude, everything I've pretty much read says that he is an AVERAGE athlete. In today's NFL, that's not going to cut it. He's virtually a statue. I would like someone who, when the script breaks down, can ad lib and make things happen off schedule.
His knee is a HUGE question mark that I don't want to have to deal with on any given Sunday. It could start swelling again, and then what? No thanks!
I like how you are trying to intimate that Corral will only be successful in an RPO-based offense. Like any QB coming out of college, Corral will need to grow and develop. He can do what Strong can and so much more. Plus, he's more accurate.
This. Corral is the clear top qb this year. Malik is really the only guy close bc he’s got the best tools and highest ceiling. Corral probably the consensus qb1 if not for his injury he suffered in a bowl game, a game where most guys would abandon their teammates. Not corral. Fields had similar criticisms coming out of osu, lots of qbs do. Who really plays in an nfl spread offense in college? Not many. Most of those guys go top 3 in the draft anyways. Corral has the arm, accuracy, mobility, and heart to be a winner

Did Kalil end his career with a number of injuries? Yes, sure did. Incontrovertible.
Do you know how he got those injuries? Playing his guts out for the Panthers for his entire career here and being a role model for everyone. This is a guy who we should be wondering when he goes into the Ring of Honor. Five times Pro Bowl, two time All Pro. Absolute Panthers legend.
He got the injury sleeping funny. What are you even talking about

Pretty sure macadoodoo was brought in solely for his track record with qbs, if that helps at all. Idk I just hope it’s not pickett

Don't know. I don't pay attention to the Swarm that much. Kai did have a 27pts 17reb game this year though.
Oh no, I mean on the hornets, not the swarm. Vern had a big game for us then fell off randomly.
Edit: googled it and it was a 21/6 game

I hope kalil didn’t have to turn his neck. Would hate for him to injure it doing absolutely nothing

Kai Jones is averaging 16.6 pts 11.5 rpg and 1 apg in the g league.
Nick Richards averaged 17 pts 10.3 rpg and 3 blks in the g league.
What Vern did seems to be about average and easily replaceable.
Did he have like 28 points in one game last year? I’m not pressed about him leaving, like this trade, but he seemed to have lots of potential

After what I saw in the preseason, Robinson should have been the starting FS and Chinn should have been playing as an in the box SS. Chinn should have been the DROTY so Rhule and Snow's dumb asses decided it was a good idea to change his positon.
I’m honestly flabbergasted that this is such a foreign idea to the staff. I generally like snow, but ffs play chinn at SS and Kenny at FS. It’s so fuginh obvious

Long time no post. Usually just frequent this place in the offseason. Am I still going to get pooed to smithereens for saying a 2nd for darnold was absurd? I’m just a hater right?!? Basically a lte first for danrold lololol. There goes a top iOL prospect. It’s likely a top OT like Neal is there for us at 5/6 too so not sure we even trade down like some expect. Basically will have one player worth a damn from this draft despite being a top 5 worst team in the league. Love it. As I’ve said from day 1 Rhule has a serious problem planning and forecasting for the future. Always assumes he is correct and is the smartest biggest dick person in the room. We need to package all of the late round picks we have (future long snappers) and the 4th rounder and try to trade up. That’s a about it. We can’t waste late picks on guys that won’t play. Bundle and trade them for someone who might actually

I didn't understand the situation of making Burris the SS and Chin the FS. Burris is the cover guy I believe he came into the league initially as a cornerback then switched to safety. Chinn is a prototypical in the box safety ala Troy Polamalu and Kam Chancellor mode.
The situation is rhule is allergic to easy decisions. Guy goes from OLB to FS lol. Common sense not so common anymore

So they traded for a kicker they have no faith in lol. Atleast they cut him

We drafted a long snapper that didn't make the roster instead of a kicker.
And everyone commended rhule for finding a starter so late in the draft and just loved the video of him getting picked! Crazy how now people want to wake up and realize any LS drafted is a wasted pick

A lot of people can’t read lol. “Horn gave up 1 catch” “durrrrr didnt he give up a td” yes that’s literally the one catch he allowed ffs

Straight up Yes or No: Do you want the Panthers to Trade for Deshaun Watson? If we do, will you still be a fan?

The nfl literally doesn’t care. He’s going to play for a team. Ben raplesburger was accused of much worse and no one in the league cared, many commented on what a great guy he was upon retirement. This idea that the panthers should be the only team composed of good guys while the rest of the nfl uses tyreek hills and Jameis winstons is laughable to me. They will be on a team in the league- abandoning your fandom bc a college hc,that is probably fired in a year, made a move for an ass hole is so dumb to me. Focus on all the good guys we have on this team
