  1. Listen, this is gonna get pooed but whatever. Opposing fans aren’t an owner issue. It’s a fan base issue. This team is located in one of the fastest growing cities in the country. Those people bring allegiances with them. Time and success are the only things that will slowly thin the amount of opposing fans at home games. Everyone I know who is from Charlotte is a Panthers fan, but those who relocate will continue to buy one ticket a year for when their home team comes to town. Nothing Tepper can do about it.

  2. PJ has enough talent, and with Cam getting a little older I think it could be smart to roll with two QBs. Cam obviously would be the starter, but play PJ a decent number of snaps as well. Limit Cams exposure, keep defenses on their heels.

The fix was keep Teddy and draft Fields. Now that this did not happen the new fix is tank for a real QB. Unfortunately this draft really looks like it only has one or two that would be ready anytime soon.

I’d take a shot on Sam Howell if he’s available. Can’t be worse… then again, need OL so might not be worth the gamble

  4. Culture on the offensive side is in the toilet. Looks like guys have no faith and frustration starting to show. Can’t keep starting Darnold and expecting the mentality to change. I think the culture on the defensive side is strong, however. Spend what few picks we have next year on OL, pick up a backup QB for a year and target the ‘23 draft for QB.

we are also a very good team, and they will have to play well to win. our strength is a little better than their strength. our weakness is a little better than their weakness. i think we have a slight edge, and it will come down to who has a better game plan and who executes better.

I agree, and am shocked that we're even saying that in 2021, in what was supposed to be a rebuilding year hopefully a little better than last season. We should be happy we're even having this debate. Good time to be a Panther's fan.

  6. This may have been posted already, but I didn't see it.

Nice to have a 30 minute segment on a show talking nothing but Panthers football. Not all of it is outstanding coverage, but serves to scratch the itch without Panthers football yesterday and is a great way to kill 30 minutes at work...

  7. Wish I could agree, but I don’t. CMC has provided a lot of bailouts so far. This game actually did make me happy, we proved we can score without CMC.  Fact is though, we’re better with him in the game. But for now, Darnold is crushing it. 4-0

  8. Last year I would say let’s get ready to bury our heads in the sand. This year, we’ll, I’d keep those heads up ladies and gents. Panthers are here to play. Down our best offensive player and our best rookie we still throttle things on the defensive side. Plus we get AJ Bouye back next week. Hoping for a quick recovery for Jaycee.

  9. Red Wings coming off of a strong showing against the lightning.  Can’t expect easy points here.
    4-3 Canes

Svechnikov 1G 1A (Hes due, I’ll keep predicting this till it happens)

    Niederreiter 1G

    Necas 1G 1A

    Lorentz/Geekie combine for 1G/1A

need top level play from our best players tonight.

    LETS GO CANES

If I told you 2 months ago that covid would hit half our team at once, Petr would get his thumb mangled like yarn in a blender, we play a game shorthanded because we are cap strapped and that Jordan Staal would be our best player, who would've guessed we'd be 10-3-0?

Not me.  The depth this year is what is really impressive.  Staal, McGinn, Nino, Necas, Trochek, oh yeah and those guys Aho and Svechnikov, who haven’t even come close to their potential yet, and now Turbo getting back into form.  Then Skjei, Pesce and Gardiner playing like world beaters, and Slavin and Dougie haven’t played to their potential yet.  I mean...
