  1. I dont know why everyone is upset we didnt get Fields. Last I looked on our roster we have Darnold, Walker, Stevens and the great Will Grier... why draft another QB, who is no better than who we already have? I would have maybe Drafted Lance... but the QB talent went Lance, Jones, Wilson and Lawrence... who we chose fills a gap and a need... I'm happy with it.

When I look back at pictures of me and my skate bro friends from the late 90s/early 2000s the main things that pop out are how stupid we looked.  All of us look like we just walked off the set of a Limp Bizkit video.

John Otto, take 'em to the Matthew's bridge.

Much closer than that and multiple complaints from that area.  Red spot is where Panthers HQ will be.  The stench goes all the way to Ballantyne, Fort Mill, Clover and Waxhaw so that should give you some idea of the radius.

not that it matters, but the location of the new HQ is a little more left of your square ( That google says anyway)

I love the renderings the first thing I thought of was how much they resemble Tottenham stadium and that’s actually where they got their inspiration from.

I am of the belief that when time comes for a new stadium that Bank of America will not be torn down and will become Charlotte FC‘s out right

I agree.. Tepper will determine how much MLS interest there is... and if there is enough.. BOA will become Charlotte FC.. and Panthers Stadium will be elsewhere.

That is what they are paid to do and that is our system of justice--and it is good for the most part.  When you drink and drive, every other minor infraction becomes more vulnerable-jaywalkers, for example, are more vulnerable.

I had a guy on his phone walk right out in front of my car as I approached campus at UNC--he never looked up--middle of the street--I was traveling 45 or so, and it might have been a 35 zone.  Had I hit him, his lawyer would have argued that I was speeding, and it caused the accident.  I would have argued that he was jaywalking and walked out into a street designed to transport cars, and the speed had nothing to do with the fact that he entered my path while distracted.  Had I been drinking, however, it changes everything.  You cant say I was speeding and drunk and he used poor judgement.

I agree. I have seen some awful outcomes of things people have done because of a good lawyer or good ol boy system. I know a biker in my town who got rear ended by a elderly woman, she hit him hard too... He was injured also. It went to court... lawyer found a loop hole that his bikes aftermarket tail lights were not "factory" size ( Too small) and that was why she couldn't see him braking... it was some bullshit...

Yep, and if proper federally approved child-restraint seats had been present and in use as per MO/KS law she may have emerged unscathed....shame the adult in charge chose to transport toddlers in that manner.

See.. people will see this as "Blaming the Victim"... but this is a angle that Lawyers will pursue in a case. It is not what is right or wrong, but what you can prove. Devils Advocate is a favorite spin. Why wasn't the car properly working? If they ran out of gas long enough that flashers were killing the battery, where was Highway Patrol? Flashers alone would not kill the battery on a vehicle unless it was not properly working. There is many many different angles any defense lawyer could take on this case.

Sorry dude, but the suggestion that if this doesn't go to criminal court nobody's going to care is completely off the mark.

The allegations that have been made here are pretty serious, and the notion that a team in this day and age would just sweep them under the rug is just not credible.

    Yeah...it doesn't work that way.

Courts don't say "well if there's no video, you can't prove it", not even civil ones.

That is the thing... who knows how long this will take to be settled in court. An even if it does, and there is no fault, the NFL can still suspend. They have done it in the past.
