  1. Probably going to take our 1st … maybe they flip jimmy g and 3rd to us for our 1st … At this point he is just a major upgrade hell it could be more then the 1st rounder… plus rumored raiders asking price for carr is 2 1sts…..

we need a qb no matter what … hopefully it’s resolved before draft cuz if not … our highest pick will probably be a qb ……

So we are gonna have around 28 million in cap before resigning anyone (Gilmore, Jackson, Reddick, etc) Set aside 10 million for draft picks thats 18 million left.

So if he doesn’t mind playing for 18 million and having the same OL come on down bud.

Pipe dream the whole thang .. there is a lot of ways to make cap room or sign players to big deals .. saints do it every year …

I heard rumblings about this. You think there's a chance of that actually happening?

Last I heard Wentz was doing well.. then the jags game happened … I think the media making somethen out of nothing… you don’t trade 2 1st for a year rental .. that’s a fireable offense.. maybe the same can be said for Sam and the panthers…

  4. With colts maybe moving on from Wentz after 1 year … I think we paid the market rate for Sam.. yea it didn’t work. Wish we had those picks back but that’s the price to pay for “decent qb” … atleast we didn’t trade 2 1st for Wentz for 1 year but the off-season hasn’t started yet…

Package CMC and Robby for a 2nd and a 3rd. Gets rid of their contracts and gets us our middle round picks back bada bing bada boom. Now, to find someone willing to take on their contracts...

Anything less would be a travesty.. that’s just offing there contract … plus after the trade there deals will look below avg since we already paying most the contract …. In many worlds it makes sense for us if we have too .. but we have plenty of cap next… ton dead money coming off the books .. like to keep it that way … let cmac play rebuild his trade value

  6. Personally there’s no reason to trade him unless he is quitely asking for a trade… we will not recoup a lot of asset or assets in return… just keep him and you saw the offense was night and day with him in the field.. if he gets traded his contract will be a way less then we paying him … he will be on a steal of a contract post trade…. Keep him atleast one more year unless we get a good offer for him. Try to build up some trade value

not worried about dead cap .. we will have a lot of dead money coming off the books next season .. we will have plenty of a cap either way

  7. I feel like we have held him out of games just being overly protected of one our better game changers.. I understand he is a labeled as running back but he is also likely are 2nd best WR.. typically I don’t hold a lot a value in running backs but is he more!!!! With that said if we are truly thinking of trading him in the off-season we should have played him more if in fact he was only being held out to protect our long term asset.. now you want to trade him ? What’s his off-season trade value?

Looking at guards and centers for the draft. One name that comes up a lot is Ikem. Any State fans with insights on him?

If we trade back or get him in the 2nd yes... unless it’s a home run best prospect we have seen at that position in years then yea take a inside olinemen but not top 5 top 8

  9. To me it’s personality.. cam is an alpha.. if he will take a below market deal or min and also understand and respect that he is not the starter and embrace the redzone qb role I’ll be okay with it and only okay with it if we don’t improve our qb situation at all.. if we get a high draft pick qb… cam has got to go ala patriots 2020… cam coming back means we failed in the off-season to secure a starting worthy qb..

  10. I’ll take arod and Adam’s for top of the market money and trade Robby for 3rd or better or keep him and not resign cam… Love Cam and all but it’s time to move on… let arod take over all the decisions related to offense (hell defense too if he signs) either way we need to prepare for a qb coming in next year vet or rookie or both

Not sure if you remember the draft but it was quite the thrill to see him drop almost to us.

It was CRUSHING to see him go right before us.

But, in fairness, Slater has been better and we went after us.

    Oh remember quite well.

So, I got to watch this guy today live and he was matched up quite a bit with Chandler Jones. Largely won those reps from what I saw.

Not to mention he was such a high energy and positive presence all game long. Took the the time to high five every special teams player when he was coming on the field. Was a visibly positive and upbeat player all game long.

I can't express how much that hurt to see knowing what could have been.

    Love Horn to death but....damn.

I mean if he was available when we picked 8th then yea I’m with you but he wasn’t soooo…

Giving up a second round pick for the worst starting QB in the league the prior 3 seasons was pretty dumb yeah. I don't blame him for wanting for wanting to move on from Teddy though. Justin Fields or Mac Jones would have been my choice.

I’m pretty sure that was the gms doing… I’m sure Matt had a hand in it.. the only mess up Matt did was not push to have a vet back up if it failed and or to “push” Donald.. but that was current gms handy work

  14. Getting rid of cmac is not the way… we have a lot of cap room … with the cap rising we will have more .. cmac is a very rare rb … changes everything when he is on the field manly because of his pass catching ability… he is not injury prone .. we are overly cautious of our most prized asset… he will be back soon all this talk will go away … I’m team make a cmac a lifer !!!!! Just a qb and few more pieces away .. we got the coach we got the gm we have the owner … it’s only a matter of time .. keep pounding let’s go panthers !

  15. Cmac is a high valued trade asset… see the difference when he is on the field then off 3-0 to 0-4 without him …. That being said I think he is part of the package for Watson.. I think he was purposely held out to trade deadline for that reason and the fact that he will be ready to make big push in the 2nd half in the new extended schedule season  …. Don’t know why Watson would come here over Mia without cmac tho… who knows …..

  16. Mr Tepper… you know what’s up.. you got the coach, you got the gm but you don’t have the qb the oline and possibly a OC …. winning vet leaders on the roster  ….for every position group we should have vet from a winning background …  to able to coach these players about the soft and hard skills of the game as a winning player side by side (don’t give poo how good, how old or injured… … we both know we might not even be talking about this if cmac has been in the lineup … we probably be 4-3 5-2 ….. with that said you have to tell the gm … you need a vet QB now and over pay for oline asap ….. if you want to save the season. Once cmac is back and Gilmore getting a lot of snaps we should have a strong 2nd half … keep pounding the future is still bright !!!!!
