The reclaimed vet QBs are better than the rookies this year. It’ll probably be the same next year. Build the team and draft a mid to late round QB and a get a reclamation projec in FA.  Canales does well with those.

A lot of people were wrong. I preferred CJ, but many thought  Bryce was better.

Panthers cuked that one up by letting him out the door the first time. He was scheduled to have a 2nd interview the day after the titans one, but they wouldnt allow him to leave. Morgan moved fast to try and save face by hiring his buddy mr.happy soon after. 

Just another huge mistake in the recent panthers history.  

 

Too soon to bash Canales. Let's see how he does with a QB who can throw it farther than 10 yards. 

I watched the end of that game with the titans yesterday in envy of the QB they have. That is sad. Very sad. 

16 of his 18 completions yesterday were within 6 yards. That is not sustainable.

Yeah, the offense would probably be better now, but the D now is horrible. No comparison.

Wide open on the majority of those routes. 

I'd say keeping the offense on the field and scoring more points. He doesn't have to light the world on fire since I think our defense will be good. 

Yall know I thought many jumped the gun saying Bryce sucks, but even I am saying let's see it happen in the regular season.

Agreed. I miss the Panthers looking this good, even against backups. Our backups typically stink against the other team's backups.

• Raym is doing great at C
• Brooks (#71) is doing a fine job at RG
• Marshall Jr has no mathematical way to make this roster/
• Plummer will suffice as the PS QB #3.  I still do not think Dalton needs to plant any trees at his Charlotte home.
• Miles Sanders should not make the roster.  He will, but when Brooks returns, we are going to dump him/trade him for a 7th.  Boone is a solid PS player.
• Bootle was picked on the entire Buffalo TD drive.  Not good for him.
• TE Sanders is the real deal.
• Matthews over Thomas as the third TE? 
• Leota is quietly solid.  DJ Johnson gets lost.  Where is Barno?  Still hurt?
• BC was in at LT--I think he should be our swing T--if Raym can play decent backup C, and he seems good so far--BC and Nijman give us solid depth on the outside.
• Zavala is a different player this year.  I have yet to see him look confused or take a false step like last season. 
• In the second half, Canales needs to get a ball to Legette.  he does not need to go 2 weeks thinking about that drop.
• Considering the fact that we entered this draft with no first rounder, a good draft would have been finding 2 impact players.  By the time the dust settles, we could have 4--Legette, Brooks,  Sanders, and Wallace--I see all 4 starting soon.
