If it checks out, go for it. He is worlds better than XL and is the deep threat we need. He ran a 4.33 forty time!

Fox is 71 years old. Still able to coach at that age is doing pretty well IMO.

Hopefully, we can plug some holes in FA and then be able to go BPA in the draft. It's hard to rely so much on rookies, though 2025 turned out to be an excellent class that contributed greatly in year 1. Can't count on that every year.

He is directly responsible for 2 wins at least. That said, best of luck to you, sir.
He was almost responsible for at least 2 losses. We stuck with the run because we kept waiting for him to live up to his former promise. Didn't happen.

I was disappointed in his production after that awesome 3-game stretch. He seemed super slow hitting the hole. Let him walk.

The defense improved tremendously this year, but it's time to take the next step next year. We have to get more pressure on the QB. If that happens, we would get a ton more turnovers. Heck, we did decent in that area down the stretch despite no pressure.

For whatever reason, it's not working for Rico right now. Our running game in general is not hitting on much lately. If we can get it back on track, I think we win the South.
-
Bryce is maddeningly inconsistent, but he made two of the biggest throws in his career in the second half. His stat line was good today and complemented the running game well. If he can help lead us to the playoffs, he gets another year. Otherwise, we must bring in some competition. Probably need to do that regardless.

We will need both playing well to win the NFCS and make the playoffs.

The lack of a deep passing game is frustrating at times. I love the run game, but we need to take the occasional deep shot.

I'd try a 4th and see. It would be nice as long as we don't give up too much.

Production did not match the salary. Good move.

It’ll be a great story if he comes back strong.

Really like the defensive double-dip!

Time to make the most of it now. He is ours. Hopefully he is the #1 WR we’ve been needing. Could still use a true speed WR later in the draft or FA. Someone who can also be a returner.

I like going BPA and not taking a player just for need. We see where Walker and some of the other ends wound up.

Love the pick. He is a perfect match for Bryce. Looks like a lot of people had the second tier ends overrated.
-
I wanted to include him in the Burns trade.
-
Our interior DL would be dominate.

Could this be the year we make it back to the playoffs, or at least to a winning record? I think we may still be a year away, but there is always hope this time of year.
I want to see a continuation the mojo we had at the end of last year (and with an improved defense).

Mike Mayock drafted Celin Ferrill. I wouldn’t trust his advice about dline prospects. Same thing with Bill Belichick loving Xavier Leggette. It was actually a red flag based on how poor he has drafted wide receivers.
XL is not done. I wouldn’t write him off just yet.

I listen to Jake delhomie on radio and he basically said "They need some "guys" ". I've been saying the #1 goal for the draft is just add talent. That's #1-5 goals= add talent. Figure how to get them on field later.... Outside of dbrown, hunt, and maybe horn. No one is respected or feared by other teams. Even during the 7-9 years, Panthers were a tough game and had Thomas Davis, Smitty, peppers, gross, stew, Luke, kalil, norwell, Olsen, minter, Norman. Those are "guys" and even if a lost happened, the other team had sit in ice baths longer....
I agree. We should take the best player left on the board or trade down. Whomever it is needs to heavily contribute on day 1.

REPORT: Panthers interested in trading for Brian Thomas Jr
in Carolina Panthers

He had a higher yards per reception than our starting WRs. 700 yards is pretty good for an off year.
