Tepper is an investor, I am not sure he would've just latched onto something without getting info on it first.
I can very clearly see Fitterer selling Tepper on Young. Fitt consistently tried to big brain people and got burned. Makes perfect sense he thought he was getting super processor Bryce young.

Marty as an advisor to the GM to help draft in the 1st is actually a good idea.

South Carolina is basically an economic dead zone. Charleston is the only real big area in the entire state.
Suggesting that Raleigh is a worst location in Charlotte is just flat out wrong.
Wake county has even matched Mecklenburg county in population.
Charlotte has almost 0 personality as a city. I also don't think adjacency to South Carolina is as big of a selling point as you guys think.
The hurricanes are also called the Carolina hurricanes, doesn't mean they have to be put in Charlotte.

Go away CP no one likes you. We are here to celebrate the good game Bryce young had

They did way more rushing, that's why the OL looks better.

Everything hinges on how Tepper handles this next head coaching search. All the dirty laundry is fully available and people now know exactly how much of a meddler he is.
This is going to be interesting.

This is an interesting bit.
"Young’s difficulty understanding Reich’s offense,"
If Young was so smart and had such a superior grasp on football, what does this say for Reichs offense? Is Young not as capable in that area as we were led to believe?

Man this looks like a fuging catastrophe. What a disaster. If this doesn't humble him nothing will.

I didn’t see him getting torched.
Henderson is actually playing…good….this year. But that’s not a conversation this board is ready to have yet.
Just never put him on mike evans and well be good

Is this mfer (Tepper) making all of our draft picks too?

The root behind Tepper seeking advice from so many people is that he still thinks he's the smartest person in the room.
Basically, he believes all he has to do is get a bunch of advice, put it all together in his own miind and he'll do the right thing.
As long as he keeps believing that, nothing's going to change.
With him being so involved its almost impossible for the coach to have any real authority. He is taking control of the teams even if he isnt intending to. its really bad.
thats why I think we need Harbaugh. The only kind of person that can thrive in a situation like this is one where no one knows what he will do. -

the loser mentality Cam spoke of and tried to get rid of when he was here. half the players are just collecting paychecks or are more concerned with ping pong game in the locker room
We need someone like Harbaugh. A hard ass crazy-person that will scare the everliving poo out of these guys and get them working again.

The bucs aren't that good. If we can keep Evans from going off on us, Horn?, then we have a chance.

There is no proof anywhere that Young wasn't the consensus #1. Anything posted about that is pure speculation. Plus that is stupid, Reich would know sabotaging Young would sabotage his job here.
Kinda seems to me like that is exactly what happened. Why not use power and RPOs? Why is his scheme more important than helping Bryce?

So let me get this straight.
Reich McCown and Staley want Stroud. Fitt and scouts want young.
Reich makes an offense for Stroud and doesn't adjust it for Young.
Horrific failure ensues.
Did Reich sabotage Young?

I agree with everything your post.
Burns isn't worth 30 mil a year based on this season's production. I'd let him go over Brown...IF...I had the interior DL you described above to compliment Brown. In fact, I think Brown's sacks would/could go up if he had another interior guy to bring some pressure.
We need help at all of the positions cited in your post, but I have no faith in the current FO to properly address any of those positions in the 2024 draft, especially without a #1 draft choice. The thought of Fitterer drafting a WR in round two terrifies me after the TMJ and Mingo selections.
You aint wrong here. Fitts problem isnt necessarily that hes a bad scout. Its that his personal philosophy on what makes a player a good prospect is atrocious. He values RAS scores way too highly, and doesnt draft enough football players.
I can understand why Tepper may be fooled by this approach though, so we need to brace ourselves for him sticking around a bit. I dont think he will be fired this year.

We absolutely need to keep Brown over Burns if we are forced to choose. I also agree that Luvu needs to be brought back as well. We need to start drafting actual 1 Tech DL now that have some pass rushing ability.
The secondary seems very difficult to determine. After this season no one should expect Horn to ever be healthy which makes DJax our CB1 which he just isnt quite good enough to do. I think hes a fine CB2.
We need to prioritize IOL, IDL, CB and WR next draft. Probably WR and IOL first id say.

I see this as a good thing. Young has been regressing, badly, so of course McCown gets the axe. Im more concerned with Reich in that he didnt see as big of an issue with this as they did.
Staley is most likely just to get some chefs out of the kitchen.

I'm betting Fitterer stays then. He seems to be Teppers Yes man.

Honestly Im not that upset about the whole thing. Sometimes the guys you dont expect to do well surprise you the most. At this point I just wanna see Fitterer gone. He clearly sucks at talent evaluation and prioritizes the wrong things in prospects.

If Tabor and Brown can get the offense moving again with Caldwell maybe we have a chance at not giving up the 1OA.
Im not sure theres anything to be done though. I am not enough of a football person to understand what happened to the Offensive Line but they all seem like they forgot how to play football collectively.

We dont owe bryce anything, especially not loyalty. If he wants us to cheer for him he needs to be better. For the #1 overall pick he looks hopelessly outclassed.
