Very true, maybe Rod just wants to keep him practicing against the big boys, perhaps they felt he grew all he could in the juniors and since we can’t send him down to Chicago yet perhaps they are just trying to elevate(edit: or I should say begin to nuance) his play.

My question for someone more knowledgeable than me. With his juniors deal, does he have to play in the games, or just be on the roster for 9 games before we have to keep him up permanently? Also, was really curious if they were gonna go to Anderson again. Going to be interesting to see how he approaches the Nashville attack this time.

I mean we really tried to keep Dougie, the devils just flat out priced us.

With that many Finns Aho has gotta have the A. Martinook is still an alternate so I assume him and Aho are gonna rotate depending on the game and situation.

Svech and Martinook. That shot from Marty was golden, I don’t think he had one last year for the most part that went within’ feet of the goal outside a few lucky bounces but that one had accuracy and power.

My thought is we run it until things become more serious. I don’t plan on making 82 game threads either this year but if someone else wants to. ya it’s quiet enough that we shouldn’t need more than a monthly at the most. Like I said above I don’t think I’ll be able to make 82 game day threads this year so somebody would have to take the reigns on that one. I figured trying out the NBA forum approach might be easiest.

Cole seems to be our second PK guy too. A full 45 seconds more than Pesce or Bear, but nearly 50 seconds less than Slavin.

Like I said I don’t think we’ll see him on the first pairing for a while, at least officially. It’s not a knock on him. More a spreading of the wealth and keeping Bear comfortable and able to grow. But ya I get your point.
