Islanders up by one to start that game off, putting heavy pressure on the Penguins. I think the Islanders are going to be a sleeper candidate this year, at least coming out of that division in the semi’s.

Sounds like Slavin is a 50/50 according to Rod, maybe others.

There’s only room for one if we have a full compliment, for real this team. Martinook and McGinn winging the fourth line. Having Paquette brings experience and expertise but I’ve loved Lorentz’s Fire the past stretch, his passing still needs a ton of work though. Putting three players coming off longer injuries on a line together too is slightly concerning. Tough choice but I think it’d be hard to snub the vet to start the playoffs off. Daily faceoff has us with Lorentz currently from the info they get about practices but I don’t put much stock in that.

My question is if we finally have a full compliment do we go Paquette or Lorentz as 4C game one.

Canes back at it today at 11 again. Really trying to redefine some of those rough edges we developed late in the season. Makes me wonder if we are going to do a morning skate tomorrow too and how rod will handle rest and practice days this week.

Ya I was really confused cause the announcers were talking like the person they were putting in was a rookie.

Capitals dominating play so far though Boston was the better team of the series in the regular season. So much dislike for both these teams though.
