  1. I love how composed of an enforcer Hakanpaa is. Jump in, use his size and length to just keep people at bay.
  2. Tripps been calling it since mid first period last game. Their ice down there in south Florida is poo. I was hoping they would have turned down the thermostat to figure it out since last game.
  3. Ned needs to not try and go out and play that puck there at the end with how shitty the ice conditions are I. Florida. Took a weird bounce back around Pesce and his pass took a weird bounce too.
  4. Poo. No fast. I know he’s been nursing something.
  5. 'FORT LAUDERDALE - The Carolina Hurricanes face off again with the Florida Panthers with the chance to clinch a berth in the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs on the line. The Match-Up Carolina Hurricanes (31-10-5, 67 points) at Florida Panthers (30-13-5, 65 points) Saturday, April 24, 7 p.m. Watch: Bally Sports South, FOX Sports GO Listen: 99.9 FM The Fan, Hurricanes.com/Listen, Hurricanes app Numbers to Know 2: The Canes magic number to clinch a third consecutive berth in the Stanley Cup Playoffs is two. 1: Nedeljkovic ranks first in the league in goals-against average (1.87) and save percentage (.933) among goaltenders who have played at least 10 games." https://www.nhl.com/hurricanes/news/gameday-preview-carolina-hurricanes-florida-panthers/c-323952568 No projected lineup so far and i doubt we'll see one with the injuries/bang-ups. Rod say there are a few game time decisions besides what we already know.
  6. Upon further review I think Drew Shore in at 4C and move Lorentz to 3LW or frankly which ever line sees the most of Barkov. Because he took no poo from Barkov last game. Alternatively you could put McCormick in at 4LW and move Paquette back to 4C.
  7. If not I hope the tunnel is dead silent with a determined grit and chip on the shoulder tonight.
  8. Which would put him back maybe against Chicago or Nashville and then the question comes is it even worth it at that point to play him or just let him rest until the post. We need to win 8/10 remaining to control our destiny as of today. Lot could change though. The Skjei front who knows we probably need him back as soon as possible though Ryan did play really well in his limited minutes on the ice. We do have bean but Slavin and Pesce are going to need a rest if tonight’s game is anything like Thursday’s. Either way I hope we still can let Martinook in the locker room/tunnel as our hype man. Dunno how that works though.
  9. The only issue is we’d only be able to rest one forward. That’s literally all we have left on our taxi squad(minus bean who is in timeout in Raleigh?) and if we recalled some players from the AHL I assume the news would have dropped last night. But ya I agree no way in hell I'm putting TT in against Florida, if he is ready to play start him off against Dallas.
  10. If all our injured are a no go. Which seems likely who do you think we sub in? Drew Shore or Max McCormick?
  11. Looks like Florida is trying to disrupt our practice/us any way possible.
  12. Ok maybe not as bad as i thought he def hit a divet when he tried to stop. looks maybe just a low grade sprain hopefully and we just rested him to be extra cautious.
  13. Really? A 5-3 shot? with two of our best PK forwards in the box? You have to be joking.
  14. 27:05 total for Slavin. 28:18 for Pesce, 9:42 SH, 2:14 on the PP.
  15. Thing is too Florida started all the scrums. We just responded well.
  16. They literally gave them almost an entire period of 5-4.
  17. Ned laid all on the ice, literally. He’s gonna have a sore shoulder from that last save.
