i only started following football in 2017, so forgive my ignorance but if Delhomme wasn’t the same with his arm how did we still win 12 games? were we that dominant?
Delhomme was never a star but was an excellent game manager. Those teams were built on strong OL, DL, RBs, and Steve Smith.

Tampa on monday night football i think that was 08 maybe.
Ronde Barber got wrecked by stewart and we ran all over them.IIRC Barber got stiff armed to the turf by both RBs. That game was so fun to watch.

I’m assuming you didn’t watch any Drew Allar games this year?

I’m conflicted cheering for him right now. And he was my favorite player before his crap went down. But man, Miles is so freaking good.

Ya, I’ve been watching fans on Twitter. They basically are giving the wolves a big FU for “not needing a NHL” affiliate.
That’s hilarious. I’m not on Twitter. Care to share any good ones?

Miller dominating the first quarter, gets injured. Just Charlotte sports things. fug man
I turned the game on to see him being walked back to the locker room. Then checked the box score to see what I missed….

So real talk, regardless of everyone’s opinion, what is the expectation for Miles? Does he play for the Hornets this year?

Yeah I feel we need a veteran. I’d love it if we could get Juuse Saros, but we don’t have the cap, even for a trade. I’m hoping we are not snake bitten this season, still tons of hockey to play.
Freddie or another player going on LTIR would open up a lot of cap space.
I really hope that Waddell takes advantage of this situation and gets our G right. He screwed up by not doing more in the offseason. We desperately need a difference maker.

I’d look at acquiring Carter Hart.
He’s in the last year of his contract on a team in Philadelphia that’s going no where this year.
We did them a solid by taking TDA off their hands and sending them a prospect when we didn’t have to.
It’s time they return the favor and give us Hart for a second round pick and b level prospect.
Not sure Philly would go for that but Hart would be a strong play. Certainly have to hold onto Nikishin who is going to be the first ask from any team for a goalie.

Our only hope is that Tepper looks as the lack of success his time as owner and realizes that he's the common denominator, decides to step back and out of football decisions, and lets professionals do it. I don't think that will ever happen though....
You’re right, it won’t. If you look at it from a high level, all sports teams are increasing in value at crazy rates. Tepper is almost certainly using the Panthers as an investment with the added benefit of playing owner/GM. It doesn’t matter how bad the on-field is, the value of the organization will just keep going up significantly.

We were lucky that Dallas missed a ton of open looks. We have no clue how to play team defense.

How does anyone watch their games? They are almost never on tv and nba league pass blacks the games out locally I think. It’s almost like they don’t want people to watch.

This offense is so painful to watch. Look for ISO, if it’s not there pass to someone else, look for ISO, if it’s not there pass to someone else, rinse repeat. No motion. No plays. And nobody will even look to Miller.

That Ezra Cleveland trade is the exact type of move we should make. 6th round pick for a starting LG that has a 73.8 PFF rating.

Bad loss but is Miller already our best player??? I think he might be.
If anybody else could shoot, he would have a ton of assists. He keeps making some great passes to open 3 pt shots that end up getting bricked.

Is Williams injured?
They just driving to the paint every time and dumbass Clifford leaves no center in the game. Just stupid!
He must be. Had 18 pts and only 1 foul.

Idk what the stats say but Miller looks like an excellent defender to my untrained eye.

I don't want him as the RB of our future or anything but I think he is capable to hold down the position with Blackshear this year while we are working on developing our offense. We could honestly have an undrafted rookie next year look better than our whole group. On a side note maybe Cohen can get some playing time in the next couple games.
I’m ok with Chubba as part of a tandem. But the problem we have is 3rd and 1, 4th and 1, or anything at the goal line, we don’t have someone to get that yard. We had the same problem with CMC. We need a big RB.
Interesting listen Tom Donnelly 99.9 ‘selfishness ‘ and why no interim HC bump in performance
in Carolina Panthers

No idea why Fitterer didn’t get a big RB at the trade deadline. We can’t get 1 yard when we need it. [We just failed to score a TD from the 1 as I type]. BY + Chubba/Sanders/Blackshear can’t get it done.
