When your little one is about 3 months and can hold her head up on her own, the thing is like an extra set of hands. Your daughter, is she your first? Here's the link...Just make sure you keep an eye on her, or at least, do NOT leave her alone in it. Caleigh arched her back and almost came out of it, but she's 7 months now...
